Made my request,2 tix night 1.Fired up.If I get the tix from Warehouse,will be my 4th show this year.

Not bad.Wish I could go to night 2,wife has to work.

..But Im sure n1 will be great.Last time I saw DMB at MSG...09.10.08......Great show IMO.

i have a question for those who have been to msg before. is GA floor basically set up like a stadium show? is it a really massive arena, where if WH screws me over and gives me seats a little bit more than halfway to the back will i be able to see?

The floor is pretty big, I don't know I'm sure the house will do what they've been with segregating their members up front. I'd rather sit on the side in the middle myself.

Brianne and Jess, thanks so much for all the helpful info. Its been years since I have been to NYC & MSG, last time was for madonna a few weeks before 9/11. You girls sure make me feel better about the train thing. I had to get all the info I can cuz my husband will be home soon and I really have to sell this NYC thing to him. He told me earlier today that he has "no desired to go to NYC" and that its "right up there with a colonoscopy". Good thiing I ALWAYS get what I want!

The train and subway are great/fine/safe. It's honestly one of the best features of NYC. Probably the best city in the US when it comes to public transportation and how much ground it covers. Add onto that the affordability and not having to deal with traffic.

im a little confused by your question but a) an arena like msg is a lot smaller than a stadium and b) the entire floor is GA...I think that might answer your question.

yeah you did. i think what i meant was if i get GA and get in line a few hours before the place opens will i have a good spot yet not get squished. dunno why i didnt just ask that

also im just wondering about how massive it is. ive seen it in person from the outside but never been inside.

it's like any other arena. it looks bigger outside cause there are multiple venues there actually.
