I hope I get a package! This will be my first time! Has anyone had roommates check in on different dates? I want to do the 7 night but I am afraid my friend can only do 4 or 5

I am guessing we can buy the 7 night and he can just get there when he can since we don't have to check in at the same time. I have an email in though regarding this. Just was curious if anyone has ever done this. I've only done hootiefest solo.

That's what I figured. I think we will do that and i'll just have him cover what a 4 or 5 night double occupancy would cost and i'll pay the difference. I will still come out better than paying 7 nights by myself. Just don't want him to pay more than he would be there.

I want to do this in the worst way, but I don’t know if it’s in the cards financially. Excited for all y’all that are heading down again or going for the first time! Glad to see that they are doing it again, as it seems like the three best Dave Matthews-related shows of the year

Includes tickets, all food, all drinks. Only have to buy airfare and be sure to bring money to tip bartenders. I ran out last time and the atm was empty the rest of the trip.

Just to confirm, there is absolutely no way to access these shows without going in on the hotel bundle, correct?

I have a 40th birthday party weekend with my group childhood friends and their spouses Feb 17-22 in Playa Mujeres. I was hoping D&T would fall on the weekend before or weekend after so I could go on a two week binge in Cancun, but alas, not to be. I will undoubtedly incur their wrath if I skip out for three nights to stay in Riviera Maya, but could probably get away with taking in a show or two.

That's correct. You can listen from a distance but they make it a pretty long distance from gates to stage.

I always thought that during these events that the resort was exclusive to the concert goers. That's kind of disappointing. Looks like the Sunrise might be, at least for now you can't book any rooms during those dates. I checked the Nizuc, and you can book it. The concert package has essentially doubled the cost for the hotel based on the prices showing.

Thinking about this for an anniversary trip, but having a hard time swallowing that much for a concert(s). I've paid a lot to see Dave over the years, but never that much. It is basically a $3000 up charge. Curious what makes it "worth it" for those who enjoyed it?

I've never done D&T, but I did do Dominican Holidaze back in 2015. It was technically our honeymoon, so what made it "worth it" was the fact that it was still a beautiful all inclusive resort exclusively for the people attending the event, on top of 3 days of music.

Now, the difference is that event was, if I recall correctly, $3000 total + flights. Now I'm looking at double the price, which I'm having a hard time deciding whether to finally pony up for it.

How seamless is the process from airport to resort? It says the resort is 15 mins away and the process from landing, going through customs, shuttle and checking in can be anywhere from 1.5 hours to 4. Anyone have any insight on that?

Phish package is the exact same price for 1 extra night of music, kind of wish we would get that 4th night but not complaining just comparing other events

We went in 2020 and 2022. It's a pretty awesome trip but we're going to skip 2023. Hoping for a European tour announcement.

Hate that I have to basically decide whether to do this before they announce fall/winter tour dates/locations. If they are doing a few fun locations in a fall/winter tour, I'd love to travel and check them out. But that might not be feasible work-wise if I'll also be doing a week in Mexico in Feb.
