Is it a safe assumption to say that if 12/98 accounts were given balcony seats on the seniority night (n2?) that almost no one else got tickets to that show? ...What do I seem to not be understanding here?

The way I understand it....

The lotto happens in tiers. So a 2019 account could have been pulled for an early lotto tier of seats and be in the reserved orchestra area. A 12/98 account may have been pulled in a later seating tier for the balcony. The 12/98 account would get seated first in the balcony lotto seating but newer accounts could still have better seats overall.

Hope that makes sense. I also have a 12/98 Day 1 membership and have been in balcony the last two years. Declined altogether N2 this year.

There are 4 tiers of seating according to the Warehouse event page.

Pit
Orchestra
Balcony
Lawn

There's no method and it their system is completely random.
Balcony both nights.
N2 is my seniority night. 18 year member... maybe I'll be closer to the front of the balcony on that night if I'm lucky. LOL.

Assuming n2 is seniority I know about 4 people with balcony and 98 accounts.

I was #103 in queue for N1.... That pit was blue for awhile and every time... "Another fan beat you to it" Okaaaayyyyyy

I think you just have to be at the front of the pack, and even then, just click on the grey pit area for the next couple hours until (MAYBE) a screen pops up confirming your tickets.

BUT! I could've gotten section 1 row L for only $495/ticket! I totally missed out (on going broke...)

Same. (Minus the string cheese... but now I'm hungry...) I've got lawn through WH on both nights so I just tuned in to see if I could maybe do better.

I was 111 on the queue and then it booted me and when I tried to log back in it said is was on another device...so annoyed w/ this process.

Also annoyed because every other presale via TM/LN basically unlocks ALL of the seats. Having to think about doing this again on Friday sucks.

Went to Deer Creek first and now SPAC only has $500+ platinum.

Will keep checking. All these seats have a theta on them.

From what I understand, they run the random lottery for who gets seats by each area (pit, orchestra, balcony) - everyone is included, and after that, if someone is successful, they seat by seniority in whatever level you were successful for.
