Re: Big Whiskey vs. Come Tomorrow
Grux: no complaints with this tribute, and it's a better album opener than Cop.
Shake Me: not the best, but it's a solid performance and top production quality.
Funny: first of the 50/50 songs, I enjoy certain parts and can't stand the rest.
Hands of God: the best use of LeRoi on the album, a top studio performance.
Why I Am: a solid track thanks to Carter, the bridge, and the guitar solo.
Dive In: another mashing of good & bad, not easy to listen to a half good song.
Spaceman: some of the highest highs & lowest lows, all in one track.
Squirm: excellent studio track, one of Jeff's finest studio contributions to dmb.
Alligator Pie: great things happening on this track, still think it should be better.
Seven: creative music with horrendous vocals, so many what ifs.
Time Bomb: another frankenstein track that prefers to be great, then terrible.
Baby Blue: solid production, the song sounds a little too much like Sister.
You & Me: musically I consider it in the same class as most songs for children.
Samurai Cop: an okay song with great production, and terrible placement.
Can't Stop: put this track anywhere on Stand Up and it fits in perfectly.
Here On Out: solid production, maybe it would have fit on a better dmb album.
That Girl Is You: embarrassing, and this was the second song released.
She: I can't bring myself to feel anything for this song, negative or positive.
Idea Of You: classic live LeRoi song, sadly the album version does not translate.
Virginia: musicianship & production is on another level, top studio performance.
Again & Again: this track is so good it makes the bad songs even worse.
Black & Bluebird: another decent song made better with solid production.
Come On Come On: really bad & really good, it's Hunger meets Broken Things.
Do You Remember: a production disaster that belongs on Stand Up.
Come Tomorrow: the sequel to You & Me, lets hope it isn't part of a trilogy.
When I'm Weary: good song that would benefit from being on a stronger album.
