Re: Live Trax Vol. 51: Post-Gazette Pavilion

Yep...

nope.
If anything I might snag the poster, and that's a hard "if."
Nothing about this appeals to me.
For 2007, I would want to see this released though:

Yes! A great LT indeed. Possibly the most underrated one of the last 20-30 they've put out.

Only reason I could see picking this show is because the only recording out there of it is unlistenable. Not that that is a good reason but it’s all I can think of lol

I think the craziest thing about the LT series is that they're still releasing them in this announce/preorder/ship 6-8 weeks later pattern. It feels so antiquated. Just make digital download an instant option.

Super unpopular opinion time but Eh Hee with The Roots is not good. I'm cool with it never seeing anything close to an official release.

One thing going for this show that hasn’t been brought up (because it goes without saying), is it’s another show with Roi.

Surprised they didn’t mention how this is the first shotgun all the while getting it confused with 2006. Something this management would do

Kind of excited, my favorite Live Trax tend to be the ones that are not highly thought of by the ants community. I only listen to officially released live stuff from the band so people on here commenting on shows they wish would get released I can’t really speak to. I’d love the Giants stadium stuff to get released along with the Vegas stuff when the opened for the dead, but only for the novelty of it. I buy every LT and enjoy them, some more than others, just because the difference in years and sounds is cool to me. I love ABI as well. Looking forward to jamming this one burning one down.

This might be a big part of management’s decision to release this show. Their archivist may have tagged this as possibility for that very reason.

It does work out sometimes, I was really happy to get a cool poster from the LT 40 bundle. Sweet print from a pretty memorable show, and from an era that posters just didn't exist.

Only show I got to in 2007 and it was the second time we got a stick from Carter (Darien ‘06); stopped asking after the second one...framed nicely.

I’ll get this show solely because I was there.

One cool little thing I noticed about the cover art: the 3 remaining core members are the ones on the video screens. Maybe unintentional, but if that was on purpose, it's a neat touch.

As for the release itself, I'm surprised because it feels like we got that other 2007 show fairly recently, and there are a lot of other years that I figured would come first before another '07, but I'm not overly disappointed or excited either way. A lot of songs sounded really good in 2007 so it should be a pretty decent pick. (Feels like we're even further from an eventual Hollywood Bowl 10.2.07 release now, though. Dang. I can't see that happening anytime in the next few years because of this one being released.)
