why? Unless you are just going for a game weekend. I have a fondness for it having gone to school there, but it's a pretty terrible city.

In America I'd be willing to go to any city for a weekend.

I wouldn't want to go to Vegas or Miami more than once though.

Hippie dippie reasons. I don't think a city like that should exist. Lake Mead. Colorado River. Hoover Dam. Blah blah blah.

Same with Miami. That city is gonna be wiped out soon. People should leave. I don't want to encourage spending billions of tax payer dollars keeping that city around just because people are too stubborn to realize they are losing against mother nature.

I've heard nothing but excellent things about Indy as a sports town. That it is the best for big events like superbowl, final four, etc.

You will have plenty of things to do if you are coming for a game. Great atmosphere downtown, especially on game day.

Media loved Indy for the Super Bowl. It helped that the weather was between 55-60 and sunny.

There's been a LOT of work put into Indy over the last several years. My family is all from there, so we get back twice a year or so, and the town really has transformed over the last 10 or so years. It's a really fun area.

Greenville, SC should be on the list of cities that you should go to, at most, 1 time unless for a specific reason.

Seattle is one of the great American cities. Consider going to Portland too. Gorge is of course near there as well.

I hear good things about Portland as well. But given my probable time window and Seattle being in the middle of those two cities, I don't think I'd want to hit them both.

3 Cities You Never Want To Visit

Living in Greenville SC right now, been here since last July, but I'm about to move to Charlotte in a few weeks to start my job.

It's grown a ton in the last few years, the downtown area has a bunch of solid restaurants and there are tons of festival type events they have where they block off all the streets and have food and beer tasting. Went to the Greek Festival a few weeks ago and had a blast. They are building a bunch of new apartment buildings downtown and have really started to expand.

The Red Sox minor league team, the Drive, are here and the stadium is really nice for a single A club. I interned there a few summers ago when Mookie Betts was still on the team which was fun to watch. They've had some good players over the years come through, Bucholz, Lester, Anthony Rizzo all played there.

The indoor arena here gets some pretty good shows, PJ was just here, and I think there are talks of building a small amphitheater soon. Minor league hockey team also plays in the arena. Clemson basketball played there this season while our arena had renovations done.

There's a lot of Clemson students who move here after graduation and get jobs, it's only about 35-40 minutes from the main campus. The MBA program and a lot of the research projects are here in Greenville as well. There's also some smaller universities near by like Furman and Bob Jones, so there's a decent inflow of young people.

Being located right between ATL and Charlotte on that stretch of I-85 will only help it grow I think. The four hours between those cities is quite the gap and there's a space to be filled I think. A few of my friends will still be here so I'll definitely be coming back a decent amount, it's always a fun time.

It's not a "great" city by any means right now but I think it's got a lot of potential to grow.

Honeslty, if you can't have fun in any safe place in an American city for a weekend then you probably suck tbh (understand if you have personal reasons to not like a city I'll give you that)

I don't like NYC but if I had to I could have the time of my life there because I'm not a boring person.

Drop me in Portland, OR or Burlington, VT and I will have fun. There is literally an endless list of things to do in this country. Each city is so unique and they all offer something cool. Just gotta poke around
