Ezra and Kannan, as well. I mean, if you watched Bad Batch, the same thing happened with Kannan as did with Grogu. Literally nothing changed.

    Yeah.

Speaking of bad batch the new season is fantastic. Love how they showed the transition into storm troopers from clones

I've said it before, but I don't dig the show at all. I simply do not care about clones enough for them to carry an entire series. It works so much better as part of a larger anthology.

I want Omega to die a painfully bloody death, ideally at the hands of Sith Lord Jar Jar.

To the bold: Is foundling the word for all the kids? I was under the impression foundling was for the parentless kids taken in by the Mandalore. They used it to describe his son though. Perhaps 'son' is more guardian than parental aka Din/Grogu.
I agree with you thinking it was for the adopted kids before the end of this episode. But Paz said it was his son and the Armorer said to Bo that she saved a foundling.

Haven't started it yet - mostly because I like watching with my nephew - but that's great to hear - I really dug the first season.

I've quite enjoyed coming home on Wednesday and watching this so far. Everything looks great and we're spending a lot more time with the mandalorian people in general.

I feel like this makes it almost a lock. Also he looked damn good. That could have easily been botched. Loved having the original voice actor too

I wish I could get into the animated Star Wars series because I have missed quite a few references. I've tried multiple times to watch Clone Wars and Rebels and it just doesn't do it for me and I don't know why.

I don't know why either - Rebels is the best bit of storytelling they've done since the OT.

Both stories pick up a lot in later seasons, though I disagree with anyone that will say Rebels season 1 was bad. They did a really good job at making the series flow into the movies and add more depth to the characters.

I couldn't actually say whether I think it's good or bad because I haven't watched enough. Something about the animation causes me to just want to tune out. It's just one of those things, I want to like it and watch it but it just falls flat for me.

Re: Star Wars: The Mandalorian (Disney+)

I've seen a lot of criticism about the direction of this season. Season 1 didn't have much direction aside from protect Grogu + adventure of the week. Season 2 was a pretty meandering journey to find a jedi. Both seasons were great but people act as if there was this clear path as we watched each episode for the first two seasons. I think most people (who watched Book of boba mando episodes) thought this season would be entirely leading up to Mando redeeming himself on Mandalore. Instead they did that after 2 episodes and naturally that leads us to a different big season ending. The pieces are all here we just have to wait and see. The directors/writers/producers of this particular show have not let us down before.

Interesting episode. Looks like they're going back to Moff Gideon. Is this season supposed to be 8 shows? I wonder if we get a big cliff hanger ending for this season?

This show turned into a snoozer real fast. Every episode is like a "side quest" in a video game.
