Listening to a good one right now called Crimetown, by the people who did HBO's The Jinx.

It's serial episodes about organized crime and politics in Providence, RI. Worth a listen.

I guess the one released today was the last episode?

I listened to two then stopped. I dont find it very interesting, its just stories of how he helped people, which is cool I guess.

Yeah, I'm listening to the last one right now. I think the allure is it being framed as a missing person/private investigation story. Richard being such a public person and then going into seclusion peaks people's interest I guess.

But, you're right. It's nothing mind blowing.

Yeah its just they reveal in like the first one he isnt actually missing, hes just at his house and doesnt want to be bothered.

I think them ending it after just 6 episodes has alot to do with how it was a news story last week that he isnt actually missing.

Up and Vanished- holy cow. How did I not hear about this until recently?

It started last fall/early winter, following a cold case about a Georgian teacher that went missing under suspicous circumstances. Im totally hooked, and now the case is moving in real time, with some crazy developments after being cold for 10 years.

If you're not a fan of him I wouldn't recommend it. I like to listen to it because he's an idiot and it's entertaining to hear his totally biased opinions. He advertises that it's the only sports podcast that doesn't fact check their information... if that tells you anything.

Up & Vanished has me hooked, I'm just about done with episode 7. I remember I couldn't get into it at first because the voiceovers for some of the narration were overly dramatic, and even the main narrator seemed too amateur for me. but I must say it's gotten much better and I am really enjoying it.

Going to check out S-Town tomorrow on my way to the beach. Pumped for that too.

I said almost the same thing to one of my passengers today.

And I live in Texas, where I'm no stranger to a really rural accent.
