DMB 2 SETS - Bring it back?

Listening to 2015 concerts and realized I miss the DMB 2 sets format. Who else would like to see them return to this in the future (assuming they replace Boyd or he returns)?

As long as they do a decent job of switching up the songs they play in that acoustic set, I'm all for it. I thought the format sounded great in 2014/15.

The acoustic sets sounded amazing in 2014/2015. But the set diversity suffered.

Honestly, at 2 night stands, it'd be cool for a full night full band acoustic, second night full band electric.

But I don't think I'd be up for 2 sets again. They got stale quick

A moveable mini acoustic set, maybe between three to five songs, that would appear during some concerts would always be welcome!!

It might-could work in each spot: Opening, early mid or late mid set in particular. Closing the set might be a bit different but it would add both a unique weight to the acoustic songs especially depending on which songs they would be!

It was nice while it lasted - as long as Tim doesn't shred every song like back in 2010 i prefer the electric sets way more.

Yes please. I loved the two sets, full band songs with Tim on acoustic and a better balance of sound was great. I understand people thinking the sets were stale, but I went to a 3 night stand in '14 and one show in '15 so it worked well for my DMB intake. Hitting 5 one nighters in a row would probably be a different experience. The opening sets were the best I've heard the band sound.

I'm not a fan. It's nice taking the electric away from Tim but I'm not a fan of Carter on that small kit or Fondz on the acoustic bass. Plus the arrangement was weird and they were all kinda just standing around. Not a lot of energy and it almost felt like they were opening up for them selfs.

Now two electric sets wouldn't be bad.

I'm cool with one big set, two sets, two w/ one acoustic, having an opener, or whatever else. I just want to see/hear the band playing live and playing well. I'm not picky.

The band sounded great in the acoustic setting. Stefan on upright and Tim on acoustic is fucking awesome. Was watching LT32 recently, and that Rhyme & Reason is rad. More acoustic down the road, please.

Im good on 2 sets.

Id take full band acoustic set ups for full shows but I really didnt like the show flow when they did this.

They're really bending us over and giving us nothing to show for it, aren't they. I don't necessarily care about openers.. depends on who they are but it makes you wonder why the cost of going to a show has gone up so drastically... it's clearly just because they can.

Loved the 2 sets, mainly due to the acoustic set. That was the closest thing to what this band used to sound like in the early days.

I think I would've liked it better in a smaller venue. I'd love to see some of the band members go on an intimate venue tour a la Dave & Tim kind of shows where they don't feel like they have to get loud. Some of the newer, quieter songs could really shine live that way.

100% on this - acoustic is better in more intimate settings. I was lucky enough to see a couple from pit/lowers and it was great - but any further away and a lot is taken away

Yeah, my seats weren't far behind the pit, but it still felt drowned out.. they were all huddled up on the left side of the stage (stage right?) we were in the seats on the right, and it just felt so far away, and until they got going on some of the bigger songs (like say, two step), it just didn't fill the place up, musically speaking. That two step really didn't sound that different anyway.
