They did the Chelsea in 2020 and then hit up Tempe (Innings Fest) Before the pandemic.

The bands bread and butter is to frequent the northeast as it's a bunch of short drives for the crew and the majority of the fanbase within a 4 to 5 hour radius. There is no incentive to have arena tours out west. Heck going to MSG last year I met some fans from Oregon that travel all the time for the winter tour.

And to be fair the band and dave & tim has doe a few vegas shows in the bands history.

East coast bias is real with this band. Always has been.

God I hope Vegas is a fall stop! I've never been to Nevada and Vegas is one of the U.S. cities I've always wanted to visit, especially for a DMB show

I did year from a reliable source, that dmb will be at mohegan this fall. She said "thought November but couldn't remember exactly". She would know and knew about mohegan in the past, so I figured it's accurate. I don't necessarily think it definitely means an album but who knows.

To be fair, a lot more people live on the east coast than west coast. Like twice as many people.

But yeah, ideally there should be a west coast leg.

Well, shit!! Can’t wait to go to the show in Boston then! Would travel as far as NY if I had to but they usually play TD garden. They played manchester, NH the last fall tour which was even closer.

I’m most excited about this because I can’t imagine a fall tour not supporting an album. I want this new music on an official release because I think these songs are going to be really good as studio cuts. Can’t wait!!!

Yep. A boy can dream even though there's a 5% chance of them coming anywhere close to SLC in the fall.

Matthew Knight arena in Eugene, Climate Pledge arena in Seattle, along with some grouping of Chase Center in San Fran and a SoCal date would be a good jumping off point for indoor venues. Toss in places like Vegas, Tucson, Denver, and Salt Lake City.

That would be sufficient for the West coast.

I live in Tucson. I would LOVE to not have to go to Phoenix for a DMB show but Tucson is stupid and would never allow for that to occur cuz we are too ‘small.’ Additionally Buddy is from Phoenix so that’s a hometown gig for him, I don’t see them skipping Phoenix for Tucson when we are smaller and that’s his home. But dammit I would love for them to come here.

I had second row center tickets to the Dave and Tim show here in 1997. My parents sold them cuz they didn’t like my grades.

This is what I’m hoping for out of a fall tour. I’ve never been, was supposed to go in 2018, but wasn’t able to. Will definitely go this year if they play there.

Chill…..they are planning a festival at Rooster Cogburns at the base of Picacho Peak. VIP camping will be at Old Tucson Studios. Casa Grande hotels will sell out in minutes after they announce that Danny Torres from Hey Dude will be the master of ceremonies for the week long event.

It was Joe Torres and he still lives in Tucson, to my knowledge. I used to have semi regular interactions with him where I worked and the first few times I literally greeted him with a ‘Hey dude.’ However I did not know he hated that part of his life so I stopped with that.

Additionally I would totally see the band play at Rooster Cogburns. Feed me some ostriches and goats and watch me some DMB. HAH

Doubt the band would play Eugene for a fall tour unless phil knight pays for a private event. The other venues are great but so far apart.

The other odd thing is both DMB and Pearl Jam have yet to play Climate Pledge and while PJ had arenas for this spring they haven't really had a west coast winter tour in ages.

It's pretty rare. Most bands tend to skew to CA favoritism. I'm happy for one band to skew east coast.

Isn't a fall run too close to the Gorge to do Seattle? Way less density of fans in that region of the country and you're talking about the only spot the band plays 3 shows, followed up with 2~ months later playing the arena? Seems like 4 shows in that span is maybe too many. Probably one of the reasons why they keep the arena tours in the northeast/eastern part of the country - there are way more fans and the shows are going to get higher attendance numbers. Just look how poorly Vancouver was selling in 2020 before it was canceled for an example.

That's why you do a two leg winter tour. Nov/Dec on the east coast and Jan/Feb on the west coast. A single Friday night in Seattle in February would sell fine. Especially if it's fresh off a halfway decent album.

They aren’t gonna play shows in Jan/Feb. They haven’t done so in the US in nearly 30 years! Much less likely now that Mexico is a thing as well.

Not at all. They'd easily sell out a two-nighter in Seattle in the late fall/winter at Key (Climate Pledge) Arena. A lot of Seattleites skip the Gorge because it's the last holiday weekend of decent weather every year to do outdoor things like hiking/weddings/etc. It's a bit smaller than MSG for concerts and obviously smaller population than NYC but if they did Seattle and something in CA then moved west they'd sell that shit out quick.
