Warehouse Seniority

I joined the Warehouse in December 1998. Used to get GREAT seats like 3rd row to shows at Giants Stadium. Now i'm lucky if I get upper-reserved. But then something happened last year, and I forgot to renew. I had to create a new account to get tickets to this year's shows, and like other recent years, I ended up with a mix of upper-reserved and lawn tickets.

Thankfully, the Warehouse Crew were awesome and made a one-time offer to reinstate my membership and seniority. I'm super grateful for their help. According to their email, seniority like mine is supposed to help a lot with getting better tickets to a single-night show or better tickets to one show out of a multi-night run.

But I am now wondering...

1. Do senior members really get better tickets anymore? I have been able to find better tickets at face value on Ticketmaster than what I've gotten from Warehouse consistently the past few years.

2. How senior is my December 1998 membership? When did others join? I'm especially interested in hearing about the experiences of folks who have more seniority than me.

Thanks,

Brian

12/98 member here. My tickets have went to worse shit every year beginning with the Citi presale. Seniority doesn’t guarantee you tickets to an event. That’s all a lottery. If you win the lottery seniority kicks in giving people better seats who have higher seniority. On a two night stand- one night is random and one night goes by seniority after the lottery winners are chosen. So does it give you better tickets? Yes and no. I’ve found the warehouse ticketing to suck for the better half of a decade as far as good tickets go. Much better luck on the warehouse ticketing forum and Ticketmaster. Especially day of the show on Ticketmaster when the platinums go down.

12/98 is the earliest possible membership. I think I joined on the first day which was 12/4. I have heard about some people having 11/98 in rare cases.

    Re: Warehouse Seniority

I think the issue is they run multiple lotteries. So you have to get selected not just for the show, but the pricing tier as well. So with a 12/98 membership you can be in the front row…of the upper section.

Between the Citi presale, Ticketmaster certified platinum and Warehouse premium the pool of great tickets is much smaller than it used to be.

A lot of this is dependent on the venue as well. I get good tickets in Cleveland/Pittsburgh where the band has a smaller fan base than say NY.

Member since 05. I have noticed my seats have gotten worse over the past few years. I usually only do one night per year to better my odds but crap seats. I do love the fact I have never been denied tickets but I don't think the sonority is worth it right now

Been a member since 06 and I got shutout this year. Had to go the Ticketmaster route, and probably wound up with better seats than Warehouse would have provided.

Ticketmaster has gotten markedly worse. WH is a decent option these days. I've honestly never gotten screwed. Got pit 7/8 times requested and the other times 2/3 lowers. 2008 member

My sister with no seniority gets the same or better seats than I do at 1/99. Not even sure why I re-up every year at this point.

12/98 member here. I had to mail a check to the warehouse for payment so I'm not quite a day 1 member.
I have had first few rows at Blossom though the Warehouse a few times, but ever since then my seats have gotten worse. This year was by far the worst because I requested 4 seats. I was just a couple rows in from the very back of the seats. I don't understand that at all. Easily could have gotten 4 seats all over the venue closer than that from Ticketmaster at face value.

Useless. I dropped my membership several years ago and haven't regretted it for a second. I get way better tickets on the boards or on drops and I don't have to worry about eating garbage uppers I was assigned by the club I paid money to join.

I guess you have to define 'good'. I joined in 3/99. I used to get great seats. Now i usually get decent seats. Either way i like not having to deal with TM.

The warehouse is far from perfect, but for me worth it not to have to deal with refreshing Ticketmaster at a specific day/time or stalk the boards for tickets.

    Re: Warehouse Seniority

My 2015 seniority (had previously joined in '99, '01, '03 & '10) has consistently gotten my mediocre seats, so I'm used to it. I only requested for SPAC & Camden on our account...declined for SPAC (as usual) and uppers for Camden (which we couldn't attend).

We've had a friend that is a casual fan that asks us about shows we might like and have gotten better seats from when they do a new account every year or so...including getting Hartford & SPAC pits in 2019. This year they snagged uppers for SPAC N2 and we got CITIbank tix for N1 on the full public sale date...it was weird but a nice snag (Section 5 Row K).

I admit the rail is awesome and close seats are very nice as well, but I've been enjoying amazing shows from nosebleeds for many shows from many artist for the better part of my life. As long as I get a good show (as in well performed), I'm happy.

I dropped mine last year, had it since 2000. I don't go to that many shows anymore and was keeping it in case only warehouse members had access to some kind of vault release. I have given up hope of that at this point though, so I let it lapse.

I've noticed newer accounts seems to get preference in the selection process. Make a new account and watch the pits flow in.

2007 member, and for the most part, my seats do get better each year (but not always for both shows of a 2 night run obv). The last two years I got a pair of pit tickets.

1/99 member here. My seats were always rows 3-10 the first 6-8 years. Then they slowly started to move further back and requesting 4 tickets always seemed to be worse. However, I've been pleasantly surprised with my pulls the past 3-4 years or so. The venue seems to have a large impact on how well or not I do. I feel the same as what others have said...the annual fee is worth it to avoid having to deal with ordering through Ticketmaster.

Hopefully I haven't jinxed myself saying all of that...

12/98 member here. Have found lately that the lottery and seniority works as it is currently set up. When we are selected via lottery at the specific price group (lower pavilion or upper pavilion), we do get seats that are at the front of that price group, but we only ever go to Burgettstown, Pine Knob, or Blossom. Luckily we have gotten more lower pavilion than upper.

6/2000 member. The price of membership continues to be low enough to make it worth it, though my expectations for getting good seats has been pretty low for decade or more.

An unexpected but nice perk lately has been getting first crack at the Riviera Maya packages.
