Only listening to the tape, but this SUAD is a damn good one.

I’m excited for it. I like the set and for $20, I always welcome a new DMB show to listen to.

Wasn't there just a 2007 release a bit ago with most of the same songs?

I wonder why they chose this show specifically...

I swear management had 8/8/07 in mind when picking this show, but someone pulled the wrong recording off the shelf or something.

Yeah, this was said in jest, I get it. But with the dollar amount and effort that goes into making these, that's a 0.00% possibility.

I can't seem to find when pre-order downloads become live and when the pre-order for this ends.

Once you choose the format, new text populates beneath and says:

Obviously. It's just such a random pick (unless I'm missing something special about it), and the show date was SO CLOSE to a really good show (at least for 2007).

I'm guessing they were going to use it for a previous LT release and then changed it late, as this happens. More often than you might think. Why they chose to release now? Not sure.

If they really wanted to release another Burgettstown, why not this one? Granted they released the very night after at Blossom and we have another release from 2013 (both of which are excellent btw) this setlist is ridiculous besides the encore.

Recently in the encore saves it. I'd be fine with it. Set looks awesome!

cry freedom is a great song that shouldn't be played in the DMB setting. it's a complete snoozer that kills the momentum of a show.

DDTW has been cookie cutter for 15 years.

recently is good but sandwiched between sister and shake me, meh

I haven't listened to the show, but it has a good mix of songs I can never have enough copies of and songs I want more copies of.

(I'm just adding this not so-useful post to point out that everyone loves different songs, so that setlist you hate is a setlist someone else loves).

I think 2007 is an underrated year, despite the band almost breaking up- I think they still sounded like DMB before the 2008 sound came.

SUAD and Shotgun were a nice treat in rotation.

Piedmont Park is a nice release (IMO)

That said I don't think ill get this release. The West Palm Beach release better highlights 2007 than this one.

I think there is some decent replay value on Piedmont Park - the tracks with Warren, the OSW opener, The Dreaming Tree, Melissa, etc.

I would rebuy it if Sony released a Blu-ray, considering it was touted as being "shot in HD with 27 million cameras"

I've listened to that Dreaming Tree countless times, same with Warehouse. Underrated release.

The UTTAD style ad-lib lyrics to Piedmont Park's Warehouse gives me chills, it's very jarring.

I agree, that is a great show. But after releasing several tracks on recent WH discs, probably never going to happen.

Piedmont is good but it's the same with LT6 in that the mix is awful. I don't replay Piedmont or LT6 for that reason.

They can always adjust the mix if they re-release it. The mix on the audio cd is different than the CD.

And the mix on LT6 doesn’t even bother me that much. It’s the fake audience cheering that they put in at random times.

Completely agree. Lt6 might be the one I hate the most, despite some good performances. One of the best Break Free's we have and it sounds like garbage. Carter's kit sounds like it was miked using an iPhone. Terrible.

Has anyone listened to the tape of this show? Maybe the performances are exceptional? Otherwise I do find it odd that they would release this relatively close to another similar 2007 show.

Yeah...I was nearly in tears when Cry Freedom was played. I thought it was beautiful.

The version on the Haiti Relief download is absolutely gorgeous.

I never listened to the tape, but those that have said the tape is unlistenable. It’s that poor quality. That might be one of a handful reasons why this is being released, the archivist noted what we have, cross-referenced to what they have, and voila.
