Just saw the video of Carter in NYC. Seems like a really friendly guy. I wouldn't necessarily want to meet any of them, but if I did, who would I want to have a beer with the most?

That’s funny… I was just thinking about this last night after we were all labeled racist for some people not liking Rashawns choices when he plays live. Even though I don’t care for that high pitch squeal, I’d still love to have a beer with him. My list goes like this:

6. Dave
7. Buddy

I’ve shot the shit with Tim before at his shows. Super humble dude. Honestly out of the list I would choose Jeff. Jeff seems like a dude who would be genuine to the core and could converse about anything all while probably enjoying himself. If I could choose a choice from the OG 5 I’d go LeRoi no question.

Stefan seems like the type to have a beer or two and go all “I love you man hey you know it’s so fucked up how the world is man”, and Rashawn gives off the vibe that he’d be one of those guys who sits and talks about how other people are acting and how he’s better than them in some way because he’s not acting stupid or something, kinda like that “I’m too cool to get drunk and have fun” personality

And I’m sure Buddy is also pretty fun but the conversation topics would probably dwindle down pretty quick since he hasn’t been around as long

Carter, no question. And I wouldn't want to even talk about DMB or his drumming in any way, shape or form. What I would want to talk about is other drummers with him. Really do deep dive conversations about guys like Tony Williams and Billy Cobham and Lenny White and Dennis Chambers. The guys that influenced Carter, because those guys all are enormous drumming influences on me as well. I'd just want to nerd the fuck out about drums with the guy.
