Man, why be such a hater. They played here on 2018 Tour, awesome show, sold out, great crowd, solid set and this is a really great place to see a concert. So don't feel so shocked.
Sorry if this doesn't fit you ideal vision of a DMB tour stop. But you should come and enjoy anyway. On second thought, maybe you shouldn't. You'd probably just complain about the setlist. Also, you should seriously consider updating your map search!!

I'm 100% a Jackson hater, but the amp is really nice. I've seen probably a half dozen shows there and its always been pleasant. The crowds have been a little lackluster but they've never once been obnoxious. It's in a good spot for easy access and it's a very safe area. It's really about the best the area can hope for.

In response to “why Brandon?” - they need a show between Texas and Alabama/east coast. Southaven is closed for the year for renovation work. And Rogers, a really great venue, just got a show in October so it’s too soon to return. Brandon makes perfect sense here. Of course we’d all love New Orleans but they avoid NOLA at all costs unless it’s Jazzfest so here we are.

It looks like this is the worst selling show of the entire tour. It's going to be a bizarre vibe for the people there if they have this many empty seats. I guarantee it's going to be a long time before they come back to this place after how shitty this show has sold.

Tailigating has been an option in the past. It was a decent scene last time they played the venue. That said, we tailgated before Chris Stapleton there several years ago and were about the only ones doing it. Everyone looked at us like we were crazy.

As for other cool stuff. Feel like we have a chance at shotgun, break for it, break free. Feel like we have a chance at Seek Up. They were playing it pretty frequently at the beginning of the tour last year. Maybe just one or two of the following. So right, BEF, Bartender, Recently, YNK, Hello again, SUAD, Typical, DIDO, Stone, JTR, Say Bye. Not by any means are we going to get all of those songs I just feel like they are on the table of possibility’s based on what they played last tour. Possibly 1 Lib if were lucky, but that’s not really necessary.

I really need DT, Stone and SUAD. They did Seek Up at Pelham and I am always down for it and Two Step. I would love Recently also. I’m also going to Tampa so hopefully between the 2 I can get a few of those.

I really hope we get DT and some other quality cuts. I'm on the fence about going. This will have to be my last travel show. I have a pretty negative attitude about going and am sadly aware that I'm mostly song chasing at this point.

I always end up having a great time when I see the band these last few years but the excitement is gone. I used to count down the minutes for showtime but I don't feel that any more. I guess I've moved on.

If it sways you at all, I’ll say - After seeing the band last night for the first time in 3 years I felt wowed by their performance more than I’ve been in a while. I will say that I’m not really chasing songs anymore (if I get my white whales: Spoon or a true AB Intro, Beach Ball, perhaps… then I’ll be stoked of course) but I totally understand holding out hope for certain ones to finally be played. I just want them to put the set in the right order, whatever it is.

this show has a great chance for DT, for sure, and if you are song hunting this year will be a good one to make it to some shows. An undersold Mississippi show seems like it could get a solid set, for some inexplicable reason. Dave’s a cheeky SOB, haha.

But if I could give my best reason: Carter is playing lights out, and strongly suggest that it’ll be worth the trip to see him play this early in the tour, especially after a nice rest between shows. I originally considered my two WH pits for this one a loss, but after last night the wife and I’ve decided to make the trip.

-Ticket prices were really high. $95 (+fees) to sit in the back row
-Tuesday night show

*I lived in the area for 26 years of my life. I saw it happen so many times. New thing starts and opens to much fanfare then eventually declines rapidly. The area struggles to support anything. When the venue was announced I was surprised something other than country acts played it. Country music is about the only thing that's going to sell well in the area.

It is sad. I’m so excited to have them in my hometown, but I bet it doesn’t happen again. Pelham is still my favorite venue and I enjoy getting away for a night and being within walking distance from the venue. I will enjoy every minute tomorrow night though. It will be my first pit experience.

My points were specifications to this venue. And the next night's show is in a brand new venue. Much like this venue, it's new and exciting. Will be interested to see how they perform there next time they come through.

Howdy folks! Looking forward to tomorrow night, regardless of what others may think! I’ll damn sure never miss a show in my backyard. We’ll be tailgating before hand. Let me know if anyone else plans on doing a little tailgating before!
