Best Two Step Ever?

Night Two at Atlantic City w/ Leon Mobley?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nfp6k6uyvRo

Thoughts?
Any others?

Other one that comes to mind is the BOWA bonus one from Giants Stadium.

I've heard this one before, it's good but def not up there IMO.

Are you strictly going on the intro to it, the jam, or just the whole song?

LT 13 I think wins, I was at citifield night 2, msg night 2, ac night 2 and randalls night 2 and I believed I heard a better two step each time but the intro to LT 13 both instrumentally and lyrically is just too good to overcome

    6.27.08.

I personally think CP's is vastly underrated - phenomenal intro and outro. The version from WPB 09 was also incredible as well.

i think one of the absolute best version that NEVER gets mentioned is C'Ville 9.22.06 with Robert Randolph.

if you've never hear it definitely try to get it - carter's work after RR's solo but before the final climax is incredible. actually i should have it somewhere - i'll try upping it tomorrow if no ones done it by then.

AC's was a great performance to witness, but it doesn't transfer to recording anywhere near as well as it was to be there to see it, much like the two step in the rain situation. to me, re-listenability is a big part of what the "best" is, and AC is not one to put on in the car when going for a drive.

6.27.08 and LT 13 are the two best, with the edge going to hershey

there is another great one with RR from 06 too. they're great performances, but i have a hard time calling them the best ever. there is a lot of wasted/down time during them. the june 08 versions were tight and to the point.

my favorite two step so far is the first two step i heard, and that was off the gorge album. that intro is very haunting.

You thought randalls was better than msg?

Msg is my favorite that I've seen and definitely top tier or #1 overall

I was very impressed with Carter's solo at Randall's Island last month. Carter needed a breather

for me the climax at the end was one of the most hard-hitting, fastest jams to date.

you mean the part of the song that has virtually no impact on the overall quality of the performance because pretty much every single version sounds the same? i was at cville as well and there is nothing about the end of the song that stands out from any other end.

Of the ones I've seen, probably Alpine '09. Of any, ever...6.27.08 is simply amazing...from the painful foreshadowing of the intro to the tightness of the song to Timmy's solo. Just perfection, the whole way through.

Citi Field Night 2, such intensity it felt like it was never gonna end. Then the picture post show really closed it out. Good times. That's a song that gets better & harder each play!
