Re: The NBA Thread

Boston opened at -170 and are still there

Dallas opened at +250 and are +180 now. i think Golden State truly has no one to guard Doncic and the Mavs best lineups. i think the Warriors offense can carry them most games but man Dallas defense is really good. would be surprised the centers in this series play much.

Dallas over Golden State in 6
Boston over Miami in 5
Boston over Dallas in 6

took Boston series -2.5 (+300)
and Dallas/Boston finals (+400)
hedged and will win 75% money back if Golden State/Boston advance at (+125)

also tasty
Dallas series -1.5 at (+300)
Poole series MVP (+2500)
Brunson series MVP (+5500)
Herro series MVP (+3500)

    lottery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

anyone but Sacramento or Washington please lol. Orlando would suck less but still meh

Indiana, Cleveland, or San Antonio winning would result in the best team right away

would be ecstatic if Oklahoma City or Detroit took it

extremely high ceiling, reasonably high floor. the injury risk is there but that’s always gonna be true of anyone over 7’0

I don’t think he’ll be better right away than Cunningham or Mobley

    but

he’s got the defensive instincts, off ball movement, unblockable jumpshot and overall “team player” know-how where it’s hard to imagine him being bad regardless of who drafts him. hoping he ends on a good developmental team.

i wish the feet were quicker. i’m curious how he fills out his body. these are the two major things, because if you can afford to keep him on the floor then it’s really hard to imagine his offense being not-good

i don’t know if he’ll ever be nimble enough to come out on switches but if it turns out he is quick enough to at least be a rim protector like Poeltl or Hartenstein (sorry, white guys) then we’ve really got something. because offense is no joke, Durant level potential

It'll be interesting to see if Poole can stay on the floor or not. Other than Dallas I don't really want any of the remaining teams to win. I guess if I had to rank it it would be:

    Mavs
    Heat
    Warriors
    Celtics

My biggest concern for Boston, I think, is that it's an every-other-day series now and that doesn't bode well for guys like Horford, especially, and Williams and Smart to a lesser extent since they've been a bit banged up.

That and Miami is just ridiculously fresh. Butler is the only guy averaging more than 35 minutes a game this postseason, whereas even though Boston swept Brooklyn, it took a lot of minutes for their guys. Tatum, Brown, Smart and Horford all averaging over 35 minutes these playoffs.

I always had them losing to the heat if they faced them. Seems like a lot of people flipped to Cs after they won in game 6 and 7

But I still like the heat. Home court, better coach, good shooters, good 3pt defense

i suppose Oklahoma City should be vary vary excited about Banchero. he’s a great fit with Gilgeous-Alexander and Giddey. get me a switchable center and shooting (Robinson-Earl and Wiggins aren’t bad as is) and we are cooking with gas
