No that is not a safe assumption. There is a ton of traffic. The roads aren’t built to handle that amount of traffic so it backs up.

I'll ask more specifically. Has anyone done the walk down to cave B resort? How are the views etc?

been to the gorge a couple times but this is our first time in the PIT (n1) there. where are the closest bathrooms? if your facing the stage, are you better off going to the left or climbing up the hill on the right? i assume none are close and ya risk missing multiple songs?? same for drinks? Thanks.

Closest Honey Buckets are to the left of the stage when you're facing it. Same for bar, as far as I know. If you hustle you can get in and out quick.

yes go to the left, and walk as far away from the entrance as you can. everybody hovers around the first few HBs in the section but walk farther into the area and there will be some with no lines.

I have a bathroom question as well. Are there any bathrooms with flushing toilets inside the venue? I just can’t do porta potties. I’m actually considering buying a couple of extra lawn tix just so I can go back to my RV to use my clean bathroom and then get back into the venue.

Yes, Cliff House has flush toilets, those are the only ones inside the venue as far as I know. Cliff House access is for VIP ticketholders only, and the ticket is only good for access the day the ticket is valid.

So it will either cost you a LOT of $$$ to get VIP tickets just to pee, or a slightly smaller amount of $$ but a LOT of time to get extra lawns for re-entry to go alllll the way back to camp just to pee.

Honey Buckets are just part of the Gorge experience......

I've noticed that wearing Depends is the way to go. You never have to leave your spot in the pit and for some reason ppl seem to give you extra space to dance and move around.

Here's a question I could use some opinions on. As I've mentioned I am flying solo this year. Since I'm going alone, I decided not to take the tent we used last time which was amazing but literally weighed about 40 pounda with all the poles and took up one entire duffle bag. Instead I bought a Coleman pop up online that weighs only 7 pounds.

So I got it in the mail and it turns out that this thing doesn't come in a rectangle bag that I could fit in my duffle bag, but in a circular bag that looks like a giant hula hoop. My plan was just to fit all of my stuff into my two large duffle bags, but since this won't fit, I will have to pay $75 each way for it Any suggestions? Thanks as always! A month from yesterday I will be arriving in Seattle!!

I get the apprehension.... But there's something about gorge that just lets you go with the flow, regardless of any hangups.

With it being legal there, is it totally fine to walk around the campgrounds or sit at your site and openly smoke the devil's lettuce?

Also, same thing with inside the venue, I cant imagine anyone gets hassled but you never know.

We were totally fine doing both last time, but if I remember correctly you "aren't supposed to" in the venue.

It is technically not legal in public places, and the campgrounds and venue are apparently considered public space. I wouldn't flaunt it, and you'll still have to smuggle it into the venue just like any other, but I've never heard of anyone who's been hassled about it at all since legalization.
