    Re: FINAL POLL: Warehouse Write-In

Two of the options winning the Warehouse poll are segues, so I’m assuming if they go off the results of their poll it will be 2 of those segue songs and 3 other songs.

These are the ones winning the Warehouse poll right now:

    Big Eyed Fish> (7/25/01)
    Bartender (7/25/01)
    Pig (4/4/02)
    Dreaming Tree (6/23/06)
    Two Step (7/29/02)
    Dancing Nancies> (6/23/06)
    Warehouse (6/23/06)

Maybe they'll take the top 7 from that poll then the top 3 from the write-in poll? That would be cool.

Definitely Spoon from 1998 – been wanting that one to get released since I got into DMB in 2005. After that I'd go with Seek Up featuring Popper. And I was even at the SPAC 09 performance of The Stone, but those other performances are just too good.

    It went like this:

    1. People made suggestions in this thread and this thread.
    2. All those options were put into this Round One poll where people selected ten songs from the whole list.
    3. The top 10 songs went to this poll, where people will select their favorite of the top 10 songs selected in the Round One poll.

Apparently, I'm going to have to re-listen to that Fool to Think later. I can't believe it is receiving near as many votes as The Stone from 6/13/09. The Stone isn't just performed perfectly, but has stand out moments that make it very unique (i.e., Dave screaming). Not taking anything away from FTT, especially with the extended outro.

It would make more sense to narrow this down to 2 or 3 songs.
I find it hard to believe a clear winner will run away with 50% of the vote here.

This crowded field reminds me of the most recent Republican Primary.

I tend to agree with this. I was in attendance for that FTT and can agree there are much better choices.

A solid 3 verse Grey Street

Blue Water from Vanderbilt or WTJU (although I don't know the legality or availability of the TJU version)

    Shotgun 6/10/06

All immediately come to mind for me personally.

And without a doubt, no matter if we all pull our votes we will be overwhelmed by the fam picking some version of Cornbread or Y&M.

I am leaning towards a song with predominately improv lyrics:

Say Goodbye, Raven, Grey Street, Crazy-Easy, Sugar Will, Shotgun, etc.

Immediately after I posted I thought of the 34 with lyrics from the hollywood bowl.

If fool to think wins it wouldn't be that surprising really. It would suck for sure though

Regardless, it's cool to know 3 tracks on the next disc will be from shows I attended. If stone wins, make it 4.

some tough choices here. The Spoon 11/21/98 show had Bela (and Tim) guesting on DDTW, LIOG, Last Stop, Spoon and #41. Wow!

Nevertheless, my choice is the 6/10/97 Seek Up.

I saw where the Trey LIOG had no reprise, so that lowered that one for me.

I had voted #41 with Mayer in the Warehouse poll, but that would be second or third (Spoon) for me in this poll.

This thread/poll is an exercise in futility, will be shocked if any of these end up being it. And based off the info of people who would be in the know in the other thread, seems like songs with guests are off the table, so just vote for what you want, were not going to get a consensus around here.

I know not everyone is going to vote for my Everybody Wake Up choice. So I'm still going to vote for whichever song wins this poll. If a good amount of us do, who knows what could happen.

If you're referring to the BOWA Bonus disc, that was a list of pre-populated songs and not a write in vote. They would have already had permission set up to use those.

    Warehouse 5 Volume 1.

They didn't even give an option to chose a specific date,
and they still gave us guests on multiple tracks.
