Charlottesville

With the national attention on Charlottesville right now for all the wrong reasons, could this bring a uniting concert for their hometown by a full band concert after things settle down? DMB has come out strong against these disgraceful (obviously) hate groups, it makes all the sense in the world to perform for their hometown's sake. Thoughts?

Who knows. It could go well, but it might not due to external forces ruining it.

    In before the lock.

They should do this...maybe a free show in Scott Stadium to bring the community together. Help restore the positive vibe to Charlottesville ( as it should be)

I guess the better question is, should they?

honestly, if they do it (BIG IF) it should be somewhere small, like the Jefferson, and only open to C'Ville residents.

    And it should be free.

Or if it is not free, then all the proceeds go to a very good cause

    Re: Charlottesville

If this were to happen a thread can be opened up at the time of an announcement. Plenty other places to talk about "what if's" regarding the band.

If you'd like to talk about the events that happened in Charlottesville last weekend you can trade the only political thread on these boards.
