I didn't dislike El Camino and I'm glad to have more quality material in the BB universe but it really didn't add much other than giving viewers closure that he actually had a happy ending (more or less).

We're in the middle of a rewatch and just got through Half Measures/Full Measure. Probably the best back-to-back episodes in the history of TV.

im almost due for a rewatch of this. aside from the first episode which I read the script for in a screenwriting class, i haven't revisited any of this since it aired live.

Started a rewatch yesterday. Going to try to know out a lot this week since the fiance is at Disney. Just going to watch a few episodes each night. I finished season 1 between last night and this morning.

Any BB scholars want to help me out with this... I just bought the 21 dvd series collection. Does this set come with the same stuff that's on the bonus disc for the season 4 standalone set? Or does that bonus dvd have extra stuff that's not in the full series set?

Got the set cheap ($40), and I watch tv on my laptop so it really doesn't matter. I gave myself $100 of my stimulus to play with, and there was other stuff I wanted too, so I wasn't going to buy the BD set. Can't even watch BDs on my mac, so it's moot.

Just finished a full rewatch of the series (killing time until the new season of BCS is on Netflix), and damn what a great series! I had let enough time pass that there were so many details and side stories that I had forgotten about. Some of the impact of not knowing what was coming on the first watch was gone, of course, but Half Measures/Full Measures and To'hajiilee/Ozymandias still brought the goosebumps. Very possibly the best piece of television all time.

It sucks, because there is zero way it leads up to a 2 year wait of expectations. I don't get how they've dragged this on for so long other than this year ovisioulsy. Waiting 12-18 months between new seasons is a drag on a show that is intentional deliberately slow...

Yep, I get that they like to time the Netflix drop with the new season premier and the new season is delayed because of 2020 shitshow reasons but... maybe let it release on Netflix early? There are times where I like BCS better than BB, which I wouldn't have expected.

Re watched it recently, and enjoyed it more the 2nd time. I didn't have the high expectations of the first time around, and just kind of enjoyed the acting and predictable plot of it all.

I think the hardest part was knowing he was going to make it. They created 0 fear that he was going to get caught or killed in any way. So the whole thing was kind of flat. The character deserved that ending, but it would have been more exciting if they created more drama around the escape. It was just so plainly told. Like this is what happened. He got away.
