Looking at the four remaining teams this year, the talent gap between them and the Packers is huuuge, and there's no way Green Bay closes that gap while paying Rodgers and his buddies, a full teardown and rebuild is 100% necessary.

I agree. The state of the team would’ve been better if they had traded Rodgers last year for a boatload. Not sure what they can get for him now. The contract plus a deteriorating skill set has diminished his value.

Reports are we want a similar return to the Stafford trade: two 1st-rounders, a third-rounder, and a player (Jared Goff in that situation).

I don't blame the Jets for being hesitant about giving up two 1st-rounders. Not exactly a vote of confidence that Rodgers was 90% set on retiring before spending a long weekend in the hole.

I don't believe anything being reported on compensation, TBH. I think a second rounder + conditional 2024 pick is fair assuming he plays again next season.

I'll be happy when he's gone. I never thought we'd have a diva QB worse then Favre but here we are. Anyone I've talked to in the last few weeks have agreed that its time for Aaron to move on. They are sick of his crap as well. Not one person wants him back. I was mad at Favre for the Vikings thing but got over it and welcomed him back, at least until his criminal activity came to light. I'm sure I'll feel the same way about Aaron. I will always appreciate the 30 year run of the Favre/Rodgers era and what they did for the team, and can separate the play on the field from the A-holes they are off of it.

Whatever we get back is fine. Time to see if Love was worth what we gave up to get him. Go Pack!
