Link is blocked here at work. Is that the Pete Holmes podcast called You Made It Weird? It's from July and if I recall, just around 4 hours. Definitely worth the listen and a great way to kill a 1/2 day of work!

Yep, it is. I've got it downloaded, but I'm in the middle of listening to Tweedy's book then I'll give this a listen.

Just downloaded this the other day, but haven’t listened yet.

We are so in sync. Are we brothers too?

I remember listening to about an hour on a commute and never went back to it. Parts were good, others were eh. He kept interrupting and relating to his religion and I don't think that's where Scott wanted to go.

Great show in Houston tonight. Is there a better band making and playing music currently - I don't think so.

Nope. There is no better band out there now. No one is writing anything close to as consistently good songs. And their performances are just stellar.

Can't wait for the three show run at Wolf Trap.

I'm up in the air with that one, but leaning towards going. Will definitely be very excited if it works out.

Something my boy Lee and I can agree on - to answer the question, no, there is no better band out there right now. They are incredible and the song No Hard Feelings brings me close to tears every time I listen to it.

There are a couple of proshot videos out there on Youtube if you search for Avett Cheerwine. I believe there are 2 from 2015 and 2016. Enjoy!

The three shows I've seen so far and various setlists that Joe has posted recently seem to reflect this as standard. As long as they're feeling the tunes, they'll play them and mix them up each night. They do some repeats on a regular basis, but it's five or less and they usually play about 24 songs per show. It's a good trade off.

Yeah, listened to that last night and this morning during my commutes. This is the album where they found their magic. Four Thieves continues the trend and they just kept getting better and growing.

Love how they have different arrangements and/or feels for songs. That’s really one of their unique aspects...one of them anyway.
