Hasn't happened yet but, I'm going to see White Christmas at our Marquee Flashback Cinema tonight with my mom. I love Flashback Cinema!

They play on Sundays and Wednesdays. Over the summer I took my 7yo to see Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and Jurassic Park (pretty sure I was the only person in the theater who was alive when Jurassic Park was first released). My husband went to see Spaceballs (too racey for the little ones). And we saw Top Gun on a date night. And there have been a lot of movies in between that we just haven't had the time to see but would have loved to have seen.

Snow is magical. You can go sledding and build snow men. I can't cross country ski without snow on the ground. Last year we only had one good storm (late December) so by February the track was basically ice.

So snow is great. If it is going to be cold (which it will be regardless), I want there to be snow on the ground so I can enjoy wintery activities. Nothing worse than zero degrees and the ground bare.

Snow fucking sucks. It's cool maybe the first time each year. Having it piled up everywhere, inconveniencing the commuting crowd, delays at airports, it literally makes life less enjoyable. Though I will say I'm kind of excited to test my new Jeep out in some fresh snow. Other than that, practically speaking, it makes life worse as a general matter.
