I have a few:

-The recent outro to YMDT is insane where Dave improvs jibberish
- The slow build up to an incredible jam at the end of Proudest Monkey
- The jam at the end of Crush
- My absolute favorite is the Jam when the horns kick in during LIOG

The point of all of these things is that every member of the band are performing together. You hear every instrument and there's a moment at the peak where Carter comes roaring in. It's hard to explain the exact moment in each song, but it's there. Grey Street and the jam at the end of Rapunzel has it too.

I know what you mean. They move a lot of air with that energy coming off the stage/from the crowd as well.

its weird how some crowds for other bands aren't as excited when the band comes out. i was at dispatch at red rocks in june and they came out on stage and there was like 7 people who realized it. compared to when DMB/D+T come out and the place explodes.

theres something about the horns coming in during LIOG. its like all this energy is building up between boyd and carter and then the horns come in to release it.

but everyday last year in Mexico was pretty special. Dave dancing with Vusi and Vusi having to cut off the crowd

Nature intro is also a personal favorite. Wish we would get some wailing/improve like from the '92-'93 recordings.

Some of my favorites, in no particular order.

1. Beginning of Bartender. "If I go......" , then Carter comes in. Ahhh
2. The lyric in DDTW "Here's the hitch". Wife and I always give each a look during this since our first show together 15 years ago. Basically, when she moved to Ct from Illinois, I took a one way ticket out there. Then, we "Hitched" a U-Haul to her car, packed her stuff and drove back home to CT.
3. Granny. Everytime I hear "love", it just makes me happy and lifts me up.
4. Two Step. After the Intro, right before the lyrics starts.
5. Carter's work on the DIDO outro.

Dave and Tim Tuscaloosa this year 5/3/17. Bad storms held off that night and rain held off until the end, but as nancies started a light rain fell and when we "looked up at the sky" it was magical!

6/14/08 Hartford N2 opening with Bartender for the first time ever. As soon as the song started it started pouring rain and crowd went nuts. You can hear a loud cheer about halfway through the song. There was a flash of lighting that lit up the entire sky.
