I bit the bullet and went VIP. I know a lady who runs a local non profit feeding terminally I'll folks. So I figured between by buddy and I, she gets 600 buck. She's been hurtin and can really use it. What the hell ya know? 5th row center isn't shabby either.

Good morning all. Ticketcrapper was shit yesterday. Think the scalpers plugged up all the pairs first! Worse thing is they'll all use it as a tax write off sense its donated funds. I screwed up and got a real shitty tic on the first single, then got 3 decent singles after that. 22d,23d, and 2v. If there's a single next to one of the 22 or 23 seats, I'm sure they'll trade dor the 2v. Its the 45q that's gonna kill me that was the first available and wasn't payin attn when I got it. Hope everyone got hooked up ok.

I HATED Alberta Cross when they opened at the Gorge this year. They just made a bunch of noise and the lead singer could not hit a note. On the flip side, they made Ben Harper look really good

True about cross, and the lead guitarist was a bit over doin for an emo group. Felice bro's were ok once, but couldve done w/o after that.

So based on what I read in this thread and over on the WH, it seems like pairs were almost impossible to come by in the orchestra. I wonder if that means the WH will have a good selection of seats, or if scalpers have lightening fast fingers...

I also noticed that it seems like more people (only based on the posts, nothing more) got declined N1 and confirmed N2 when ordering both nights. It usually is the opposite for 2 night stands. Curious if that meant more people were just requesting N1 alone, thus filling up N1 more than N2 and making confirmations scarce?

Boring day so thought I'd speculate.

Was anyone confirmed for both nights through the Warehouse? Looked like people only got confirmed for one of the two nights.

It will be interesting to see what kind of seats WH gives everyone. I bought decent singles for each night just in case, except for the stupid 45q mistake. If anyone knows someone who is in desperate need to go to night 1, they can have the ticket for 120 total. On stubhub right now---these shows are way out of the water!!! Scalpers cleaned our clocks on this one. Should at least be a law against it when its for charity

Looks like a great week! We will be at the two Seattle shows, then fly to Vegas on Thursday, show N1, then back to Tacoma for the Roger Waters show! We bought N2 tickets having forgotten that we'd already committed to Roger Waters. . . shall be a fun week!

Ditto!! Thanks for sharing the video, they sound great and I think having an opening act is not a bad thing, as it takes some pressure off of Dave and Tim since they have varied in the "arrival time" on stage by quite a bit over the various acoustic shows. . . .

I was confirmed for both nights, but I ordered a pair of regular and a pair of VIP for each night. So, lots of $$ to charity but what a way to enjoy the giving!!!

Hmmm see that's interesting. So far you guys that got confirmed for both nights either ordered only a single or ordered 1 night VIP. Since there's still 5th row VIP's on LN, they probably weren't that hard to come by on requests. I'd say very few were confirmed for both nights with regular tickets. Dunno what that means exactly, but maybe it's not as 'random' as we think?

Looks like public tickets are all definitely sold out now. Maybe I won't have as hard as time as I thought selling my last row corner seat. Will they do instants on these shows?

    From the WH:

    Quote:
We are pleased to announce that The Head and the Heart have been added as special guests to both the Seattle and Las Vegas shows.
Umm...wtf? Does anything know anything about them? If this is going to turn into some Dave & Friends type thing I might just pass. The fact that they're traveling would indicate they have more than just a passing role in the concerts. Obviously speculation...but I'll be pretty disappointed if there's a lot of deviation from a standard D&T experience.

I searched the site but couldn't find anything about this...if there's a thread can someone kindly link me to it?

    Thanks!

Ah, somehow I missed that page and read every other one. Thanks, I'll check them out. Are they definitively just opening? Obviously no issue with that, I just didn't want to spend a couple thousand bucks to fly around and end up at concerts I didn't enjoy =). Thanks again.

Sounded a bit like a country-influenced David Gray w/accompaniment. Pretty folky, decent vocals, relatively minimalist. Not gonna run out and buy their album but definitely listenable. Granted, I only listened to a couple songs.

I'm mostly pumped b/c this will give me a bit more time to get to the venue from work and also have a few more prefunk brews than I thought. I'm not big on openers but they definitely help the prefunk last longer
