I'm still uncertain of my plans but definitely hoping to swing a couple days back home to see the boys in Toronto. I would sure like to be in English speaking territory again, if only for a short while.

Just went through the Toronto stats on the almanac, here is what has never been played in Toronto in all the years they have been comng here. Hoping to see 1 or 2 off this list

Interestingly I haven't seen any of those songs but 4. I guess that is what happens when the majority of your shows are in T dot. They sound checked Shotgun a bunch of times in Toronto a few years ago but didn't play it.

for some reason there are no tickets available during this amex pre-sale or it sold out in a second, cause i was on right at 10 and havent pulled up anything yet

Same here. I was trying for 4 tickets, but that never worked. Eventually pulled 2 in section 407. Which didn't do me much good since I need 4. Section 407 is double the price of the lawns and isn't covered anyway, so it's back to the lawn again.

I wasn't able to get anything better than 406 with AmEx. Going the general sales route now too. I'd like some good 200's, not really interested in the floors. Too old for that now.

To the warehouse ticket question: First year in the WH we got two really good 200's. The next show, I think the winter ACC show in '05 we got two other 200's but we also bought two standard tickets and they ended up being the better of the two so we gave the WH ones away. We gave up the WH membership after that as the tickets didn't seem to get better the longer the membership.

Yeah, last year a buddy got me a pair with his AM front of the line. Got 400 and had to sell them off to scalpers for $50 for the pair, cause I couldn't unload them. Plus the wife was with me pregnant and didn't want me getting arrested for scalping. Which leads me to my next point. I ended up bying dead centre 300s, they served beer and food there and you were dead centre to the stage. It was like the mid vip section. I got those of off craigs list for $160 for the pair. Got them 2 days before the concert. I'll give TM a try but if I can't get anything good, I'm waiting for craigs list.

Minarets has been played once but not since 1994, so it has been a while and should be on the list.

Last years set was good but I have never really been blown away at a Toronto show. I feel like we get hosed so darien and spac (which usually follow) can get great setlists. Yes, I probably set the bar far too high with this band.
