Anyone check out the new Vasudo song?

It’s nothing great, but a solid tune. Sounds like Goose music (obviously, Vasudo is 4/5ths of Goose - Rick + Peter + Trevor + Jeff) meets Dispatch-ish vocals.

Basically, it's Goose but with Jeff on drums instead, and add in a fellow by the name of Matt Campbell (vocals & keys). Sort of Goose 1.0.

Matt sang/led on Tumble, Factory Fiction, Hot Tea, Empress, Flodown and Wysteria back in 2012/2013 from what I understand.

Excited to relive the WI weekend. I haven't re-listened yet, but Set 2 N1 was an absolute blast from start to finish. The wife and I had Mas Que Nada stuck in our head for weeks. The Way it Is had an awesome jam n2 and I remember Creatures and Hot Tea both being awesome - per usual.

Probably not one of the top shows of the tour, but I had an absolute blast n1 - just a really fun set of songs - and n2 had some strong highlights.

Edit: I actually don't see either WI show on Bandcamp right now, but I assume that will change soon.

No issue for me. I grabbed tickets for the San Diego earlier today.

First time seeing them and it's only a ~10 min walk from my house!

Damn, maybe they cut it off after a certain time or allotment. I couldn't get on until 10:30am and then there was no button to enter a code for the presale.

Will try my luck tomorrow. Small venue though, so now I'm a bit nervous.

Honestly I’ve have very little interest in Goose since Phish returned to the stage, but I saw that the Bonnaroo lineup dropped today, and I looked at it solely to see if goose got one of the late night shows in one of the tents. Turns out they did. Feel like this is huge for them, when I think back to some of those on the cusp growing jam bands that really left lasting impressions and left their mark with statement marathon shows during their late night sets at the early Bonnaroos (like moe and UM). Those sets took those bands to the next level. Feel like the stage is set for Goose to do the same. Now is the time to make your mark, Sunrise set or bust, let’s see if they have it in them.

Been focused mostly on Phish the last month or so, but excited to hopefully find a FRED stream somewhere next week. (fan stream or something). Maybe Phish 4.0 will have inspired some more dark jamming.

Yea definitely would be bummed about that if I was at Roo. Too much crossover there, whoever made that decision messed up.
