Re: Dating is miserable
While Defcon’s story sounds nuts, if you’ve had a good amount of experience it is not surprising in the least.
A few years ago, I picked up a girl at a local bar by my place. The next morning, she asked to get brunch and I said no. What ensued was a temper tantrum and a refusal to leave my house. Finally said yes, did our thing again, got ready, and as soon as we got out and I locked the door told her she was crazy as hell and now she could finally leave. Worried for a while she would come back/try some crazy shit but fortunately she never did.
After that I’d either ask a girl her address after we were done the night of or right away the next morning and just get them a Lyft or Uber. Never had anyone turn down the ride home. There’s some crazy shit out there.
EDIT: Another good move is suggest a local coffee place (you’ll likely want coffee anyways) and as soon as you get it just be like “well, this was fun I gotta go x, y, z”.
