Osteria Danny is closed on July 4th typically...gonna have to figure out a different location for din din. Though I also think something like a pig roast would be fun to do at the Casa.

I was wondering about the restaurant situation on the 4th. I assume all the bars will be open at minimum? Booked our flights the other day to fly in Wednesday morning. I really want to hit Taverna Novo this time.

Yeah most everything will be open. I think Danny just is typically closed cause they are truly a family run restaurant.

They used to do a huge fireworks display but I feel like it got moved / downsized during COVID and never came back to it's normal self.

As for Novo... I've only been once when it first opened. Went mid-August, at the time they did not have proper AC and they have a huge pizza oven in there. Needless to say we couldn't wait to leave sadly...we have not been back since but that's not any indication of the business...they must be doing something right with how long they've been in business compared to their location with would see a restaurant last 2 years or so before failing.

I could see that being an issue with heat.

I've been reading about this place called The District that is on our list too for brunch.

Hey all,

I live in Iowa but consider my "home venue" to be Alpine. Having said that, I've seen the band play in 15 different venues including Deer Creek, West Palm Beach, MSG, and MGM Grand in Vegas. I'm considering making my first trip to SPAC this year. I booked a hotel in Malta, which I know isn't Saratoga, but I got a good deal with points and won't have to spend crazy money on the inflated hotel rates in the surrounding area. It only looks like a 10-15 minute drive from the venue, so I'm hoping it's not bad.

Having said that, if anyone has any things to do or see, seating areas to shoot for or avoid, and tips/suggestions on the best way to get to and from the venue, I'd greatly appreciate it. Looking forward to seeing how good the atmosphere is at SPAC!

Just popping in to say you’ll enjoy yourself! Saratoga Springs might just be the best atmosphere. This is also one of the kindest group of people on the forum with plenty of suggestions for everything.

Ugh so tempted but WPB is so much easier for me logistically and I probably can’t make both happen from a political perspective at home. Especially with the hometown Bristow show the next weekend. But I’ll live vicariously through you all!

I haven't requested Warehouse tickets for years because I never seemed to get good seats. I decided to just go with the secondary market, pay a premium, and get seats where I want. Having said that, I will likely put in for SPAC tickets simply due to the high demand. I had a few questions for the group for a potential SPAC virgin run.

1. What are seat/pit tickets running (approx) in the Warehouse these days? Not interested in Lawn.
2. With the unique setup at the venue, with the balcony and such, what are the best areas to see the show at SPAC?
3. If I get denied tickets from the Warehouse/Citi presales, how rough is the secondary market on this site? Are people usually looking to get rid of tickets, or is it still pretty tough to get without paying through the nose on ticketmaster?

anywhere inside is fine. some seats are behind a pole but people typically just move to the aisle in my experience.
