For sure. I remember that from 2013 also. We were on the rail for the first half of the show then moved back to hang with some friends and I remember thinking how much room there was still.

Haha that would be great, but not expecting that in the slightest. I'll be at the Gorge as well, so I'll just enjoy whatever they decide to play.

Well, after a great night I got home from the show and couldn't sleep so decided to come into work and get some things taken care of before I head to the gorge on Thursday. Waiting for some things to sync up and thought I'd leave my thoughts on the Utah show....

Smiles are contagious. As are joy and passion. That band wasn't 'working' tonight. They were obviously, but, not. It's very evident that they've found a new enthusiasm and fire since Boyd left and Buddy came on. I miss the violin like most do, but hot damn it was fun to watch them enjoy themselves like that. Dave was dancing, smiling, laughing, and having himself a ball the entire time.

The setlist was fine. Never expected anything amazing for this venue/Utah. But I have to say - that was one of my favorite shows I've seen out of almost 70. So Right kicked ass, Bayou did too. Other standouts were GIG, DDTW, and Warehouse (the new intro is haunting and beautiful). I didn't think it was possible to be more excited for The Gorge weekend, but they somehow managed to do it for me. Also, the poster is sweet and I'm glad I was able to snag one for the bargain price of $60 (weren't they like $35 a few years ago?!).

Hope everyone else in attendance had a great time like I did!

I had a great time at the show and got to meet a lot of cool people.

I wonder if Sister was on the original setlist. A guy next to me brought a poster asking Dave to play Sister, as his sister recently passed away. People on the rail took the poster and taped it to the front of the rail for him.

When Dave played the song, everyone moved over so this guy and his daughter could go up to the front and listen to the encore. Honestly, it was a little emotional.

I agree on the setlist - it was fine. It definitely won't break any rarity records on dmbalmanac, but given I haven't seen a show in 6 years, I have no complaints.

Did anyone notice if there was a taper? That show was awesome. LOVED Bayou, Warehouse, Smooth Rider, So Right.

See attached pic from Rashawn's IG - the original setlist had a 'Dave solo' placeholder in the E1 slot. So it's possible.

Copperpot posted on twitter last night that the taper who flew in from the east coast to tape the Colorado and Utah shows was denied entrance because of the long poles. They deemed them as a weapon. When they contacted someone with the band, they were overruled by the venue.

So, sadly, this show will never surface unless it's released by the band in some official format - which is 0% likely.
