MSG Closed
Now hear this M.S.G is closed due to an asbestos related problem. It is closed until they figure out what to do. I got this thru F.D.N.Y source. I have no idea what this is gonna do to the shows, but asbestos is a major hazard and could take considerable time to clean if its a large problem.

i read an article about this maybe an hour ago. i read that they cancelled a knicks game and possibly the next game, but it didnt mention anything about concerts. i will be so angry if they cancel this or move it to a different date. i understand if shits falling from the ceiling like raindrops theres a big problem and i dont want people to get hurt.....but, cmon.

they have crews working 24/7 cleaning, MSG will re open in 48-72 hours.

Posted this in the gathering thread by mistake, but according to an NBA official, this should be cleaned up by Wednesday, tonights Knicks/Magic game should be the only event in MSG to be rescheduled, but just in case they called the Prudential Center in Newark for the possibility of moving one more game. But it sounds like everything should be fine for the shows.
