Anyone still following? I caught their gambling show sunday morning, and while I wouldn't say I'd rely on their advice, I did find the show entertaining. It's on channel 11 (WPIX) here in NY, idk about elsewhere.

Also, they just re-arranged their whole radio program schedule and I don't know if I'm enjoying it so far (although I really only catch the late afternoon shows if its slow at work or listen on demand later in the evening).

The new(ish) Chicago crew is great. I'm obviously biased and it won't do much for people that don't care about Chicago sports, but it's a funny group that reminds me of the "good old days" of Barstool. Barstool Eddie is so Chicago in a great way. I still listen to PMT often, but not every single episode like I used to.

I still follow the site because I spend most of my work day at a computer, but far less than I used to.

Is the gambling show with Stu Feiner? Guy is a nut but definitely entertaining.

Barstool Chief is by far the best Blackhawks guy out there. Better than any of the official beat writers like Laz. He actually understands hockey and isn't just a shill for John McDonough.

I rarely read the website or keep up with any of the videos. Used to watch the Rundown every day, haven't watched it in probably a year now.

They just got so watered down with the Chernin deal, they lost who they were. And a lot of their content is so scripted/planned, it's basically like the WWE with no violence. I can't stand the intra-office "fueds" that they pump out like every other week.

I miss the days when it was T&A and legitimately funny, creative blogs. Their main focus is video now, which I simply do not have time to keep up with.

I do still listen to Pardon My Take probably twice a week when I have a long drive for work. Those guys are still funny and know what they're doing.

I listen to PMT and randomly consume some other content from Barstool here and there but to Steng's point all the office "drama" stuff is so beyond stupid. I can't imagine possibly giving a shit about any of that. There's too many people who work at Barstool that really don't have any talent at all, they just sort of exist. With the investment behind them now I don't see why content should focused around high school drop out kids with no talent having a pissing match over something dumb in the workplace.

To your point mja, I think what used to be a major draw to Barstool for a lot of people were the personalities of the major players, like Prez, Big Cat, KFC, etc., when it was still a relatively small operation. It worked because we were exposed to them way more which gave us an idea about where they stood on things and whether their stance was consistent with what we knew about them. And it worked, the Rundowns with KFC and BC going after Prez used to be hysterical.

They obviously tried to extrapolate/expand this theory that the business is personality-driven, and it just doesn't work because it's now so diluted. Not everyone that works there has the personality to engage in those sorts of things. And it's not like their original content or blogs are anything to write home about. Transitioning to video, giving up on the blogs, and forcing these pseudo-personalities caricatures down our throats has turned me off to Barstool in a big way.

Also, KFC cheating on his 9-months pregnant wife really opened my eyes to how douchey a lot of the Barstool guys are...KFC quadrupled down on his "hot take" personality and it drove me away almost entirely. I used to be a big fan of KFC back in the early days of KFC radio and got into some of his other projects like the podcast documentary type things he put out, but he and Feitelberg are absolutely insufferable now.

If you're a golfer you have to listen to Foreplay, Riggs the main host is a great personality and is obsessed with golf. Dave Portnoy's bitch Frankie B is unbearable to listen to most of the time but the rest of the show is so good it's worth grimacing through.

Still a loyal PMT listener. Show has only gotten better honestly. They get great interviews now. The one with Baker Mayfield yesterday was hilarious.

The only thing I dont like that they do on that show is fantasy fuckboiis.

Everything else barstool is still pretty much the same for me. I follow them on IG, a couple of their accounts are good follows, but I never go on the website. And yeah probably 75% of the people employed there have absolutely no talent whatsoever.

Big Cat is by far the most talented dude there. PFT is really funny, but he overdoes some stuff. Their chemistry on the pod is great though.

I skip out on a fair number of interviews and the segments section sometimes gets stale but the first 20-30 minutes are usually gold.
