Hahah that was me that said that. Its true. I hear the first note and can B line to the pisser and be back before the first verse starts. It's great. I dont dislike the song by any means. Its fantastic. Just long and ive heard it several times

Hard disagree. I love the flute, and I love the variety it brings to shows. Jeff has an alto solo on Jimi, it's nice to get something else on WWYS.

Started when the song was in the acoustic set in 2014. It really kicked ass then

In the electric set he always played sax until the Gorge 2021 when they had the “alternate format.” Flute has come and gone since on WWYS

Seems like they ran out of steam here in the last few shows and went a little into auto-pilot. Not bad shows at all, DT and The Stone got some plays and Can’t Stop disappeared, but feels like they needed a break. They’ll probably pull out all the stops in WPB though, with the break AND the reschedule.

How does Joe Lawler guesting work? The guy has been with the band every show for at least 15 years now...Does anyone have any insight why/when he gets brought in? I think him playing on Rhyme and Reason is one of the most underrated things in the band's history. He fucking destroys that song.
