These are 2 songs that are definitely better on Busted Stuff. People just pick tLWS because it's the cool thing to do. You honestly like that nonsensical scat Dave does on tLWS? B/C other than being tighter and better sounding on BS, that's the only difference. Busted Stuff is pretty much the same... just sounds better on BS.

love the sound of the LWS Busted Stuff for some reason.. to me it is superior to the BS version. However, with KKJ I prefer the BS version with no lyrics. I absolutely despise the "plastic a$$hole" lyrics. Definitely would prefer to hear it live same way (no lyrics) as a bridge between songs (much like ASTB).

i've said it a thousand times, kit kat jam is the most underrated dmb song there is, ill take it in any way, shape, or form, busted stuff is good too, but kit kat is incredible, glad i saw both in 2010

Absolutely love both but im partial to busted stuff because i cant get enough jazz these days. Im writing & recording my second full length lp now & 2 out of 4 tracks are straight jazz.. Love jazz baby jazz.

Full band KKJ is awesome. I actually kind of like the BS version more than the LWS because there is more going on in the BS version, and it's tighter too. I wouldn't be surprised if the LWS version was finished it would be better, but for now I am sticking with the BS version.

the busted stuff songs are all my most listened to songs. i love that album so much. i think in ways its better than lws, for example the way captain was re done etc. but to answer this question, while i love both the songs and was lucky enough to see them both in 2010, i listen to recordings of kit kat jam a little more than busted stuff. they have played that song over the years slightly different each time. especially lyrically. i like that about that song. it was improvised alot lyrically. i dont know i guess special in a way. imo

yes while the lws version is still great, i just happen to like the bs version better. my opinion of course

The busted stuff album is a very good one. If their was no such thing as tLWS and Busted stuff was "new" it would be big 4 material for sure.
