I feel like VB in general doesn’t get the sets with the rarer songs - it’s like they bring a group of the biggest songs they have or so. And that’s fine, I can totally do that if I get a show like Raleigh with the deep cuts/harder to see songs last night. It’s a more casual fan set in VB.

We bought our tickets the day of. They dropped pavilion tix to lawn prices and it still didn't sell out. Which led to a weak ass crowd experience where we were (Im sure there were pockets of energetic fans elsewhere).
I love the backyard venue shows in Va, been going for 16 years. I just have to remember to curb expectations regarding setlists with non-cville VA shows. And I thought Ive been doing really well with that over the years. I wasn't expecting a crazy set, nor even a 'good' set. HOW-EV-ER, there are a few freaking songs played on that black guitar.... If he is going to cuck me on a PFWYG, the very least that could happen is to not drop fucking Bayou two nights in row. If not Break Free, why not So Right or What You Are?
That being said, it is a still a DMB show. Still nowhere Id rather be on a Saturday. And luckily, still have Gorge on the horizon
Till next year Vabeachers
