Quicker trip, not a huge added cost (it's $5 for a one-way trip on the LIRR in the city zone versus $2.75 for the subway), and the LIRR station is closer to the venue than the subway (although we're talking just a couple of blocks).

my point is that the venue is way more accessible than just via the LIRR.

tons of options and access points to hop on a train to get there. you don't have to go to NYPENN

Very true. And Penn isn't the only option for LIRR access in Manhattan either - there will also be trains to Forest Hills from the new Grand Central Madison station.

Yeah definitely. They're probably going to use the 5 days off before that to do promo in NYC, but I remember in 2009 they did the Today Show and a show in Hartford the same day. Those days are gone.

why would demand hold up temps and the lottery for series 1 only? that doesn't make sense.

plenty of demand (and higher) for other shows/series

It could be a mix. While I've worked with tons of ticketing platforms for shows, I've never worked FOR one. So while I'm not exactly sure what makes scaling so hard internally for them, it's not uncommon for companies to fuck shit up.

Barclays Center just dropped SeatGeek to go back with TM, for example, and it's being reported that's because SeatGeek couldn't handle the volume they did. AXS is smaller so it's entirely possible the mix of venue size, working with a serious fanclub like WH, etc just messed them up for whatever reason.

thing is fiddler's is also AXS, and it doesn't seem like they've ever had issues in the past, so it might not be an AXS issue, maybe just a mapping issue for forest hills or something like that.

I have a hard charge since last Friday for $323 which would be reserved 3 (in red on the WH chart) in the preference order. There was also an adjustment to the request less than two hours ago as well. So looks like things are moving.

My temps didn't come in until the day after yours, and were already adjusted down to account for my standard request being for the cheapest tier that you can't opt out of (premiums are all the same price). So I'm hoping that's what I'm actually getting.
