The weirdest thing just happened. I needed a positive PCR lab test for work, so I got one yesterday. It came back negative. I just took another rapid test and it was positive. Wtf.

Now I have to wait until Monday to get another test because it's Christmas.

Honestly, I got sick 4 times from October-November and those were all worse than COVID was. I credit the boosters. I might've thought it was just allergies if I didn't get tested.

Welp, after 3 years of somehow dodging this thing, covid has finally breached my castle. Knocked me on my ass for a good 3 days. Tested positive after I started to feel better.

Somehow dodged Covid this whole time and picked it up randomly. Wife is wrecked. 8 mo is handling it well but she is on antibiotics for the second time this month for double ear infections. My 3yo tested negative but give it time. I feel alright with a low fever and light cough. It’ll be a full month of sickness in our house once quarantine is over. Then we can go out and get sick again! And we don’t even do daycare

No fever barely any cough and we use the owlet sock at night which reads your blood o2 and heart rate and it’s always been 95% or higher.

4th? Sheesh! I have a co-worker who's gotten it 3x.

I wonder why some people are more susceptible to it? I remember earlier in the pandemic they were saying that certain blood types were less prone to it. I wonder if that's factual or not.

Yeah, it wasn't that long ago that we were quarantining items bought from the grocery store for 2-3 days before bringing them inside.

I still rock a mask and barely eat indoors. Its helped cut down on the number of colds I get which is super awesome, because I normally get a lot because students are germy

My company made face shields for a short time, and we thought we had some interested parties for a time, which we did. But we still ended up with several thousand extras. Someone was just over here 20 min ago trying to ask if any of us wanted to take a couple hundred, maybe a medical facility or daycare that might want them

Our facility never ran out of PPE but we were scrapping bottom,then we overcompensated and bought to much. We have soooooo much PPE now, most of which will end up in a dumpster in a few years. During the worst of the PPE scarcity we were spending thousands on PPE that never showed up.
