Is there a way to mute someone so you never have to read their posts again? Tired of reading BustedStuff’s uneducated nonsense.

On a side note, this is interesting.

“ It’s a small example of the benefits of getting vaccinated,” the governor noted.

Venues that require proof of vaccination will be able to have people sit closer together.

Gov. Inslee says he is in full support of private companies and nonprofits that want to have vaccine requirements. He says more colleges and universities are likely to add them, and he expressed his support of those efforts as well.”

Very interesting and good news for WA. Not following news around the country so this might already be the case in other states.

Gonna be awesome to be in a packed stadium again. I bought Braves and United tix this morning. DMB tour should be fine for almost all the shows this year!

theoretically Livenation must have some sort of information from each state not as to what their specific regulations might be when the shows happen, but what their threshholds are for shutting back down again, that RLM would have been able to act on in deciding to attempt this tour?

I love the idea of incentivizing people to get vaccinated. it's not going to sway the anti-vax lifers, but it certainly will tip the scales for a lot of people reluctant or on the fence about it

I think this is a relatively reasonable assumption. at least I'd hope so for someone running a billion dollar industry.

It’s a brand new ballgame now that we have vaccines. Mayor of NYC already saying he wants to fully reopen by July 1.

As much as I hate Cuomo, he came out and basically one-upped DeBlasio yesterday by saying 7/1 is arbitrary and it will probably be before that. Since King Cuomo has the final say on things.

I'm telling you, the Gavin Newsom recall has put all Governors on notice. Gretchen Whitmer in Michigan may not be worried about getting kidnapped by radical douchebags, but I'd bet the thought of being removed from office before the end of the term keeps her up at night.

All I know is I don’t want to live the rest of my life this way, and I think everyone can agree about that. If we don’t get back to normal after every willing person gets vaccinated, when is a good time?

There’s ZERO chance that the country will accept another summer like 2020. With vaccines aplenty and Covid numbers decreasing significantly across most of the country, it will be a hard sell to say “we still need to err on the side of caution and returning to normal this year won’t be likely”. People have had enough of it - especially as more data continues to be released.

If the end goal for some folks is “nobody should ever get Covid ever again and we need to get the numbers down to 0”, then you’re living in a fantasy world. The country is opening up again.

How do you explain the NFL draft last night? Or the increasing crowds at baseball stadiums all over the country? Or the plan to have full capacity at every NFL stadium to start the 2021 season? It’s happening.

But there already have been. You can disagree but how you say there won’t be any crowds when there are currently? Everyone is absolutely entitled to their opinions but this way of thinking is getting unreasonable. It’s not as if nothing changed from last summer, vaccines are supposed to be the return to normalcy. If not now, when is the right time with your outlook? Let people decide whether to be in large crowds, let people decide whether they want to be around people who have recently been in large crowds, continue to wear masks if you’d like but these are outdoor activities that we’ve been told by the scientists and experts are situations with very limited risk.

I wonder if he means entry is dependent upon vaccination proof or if he means venues that allow proof of vaccination and or a neg covid test.

It would be negligent to mandate people to get vaccinations a few months from now when the 2021 tour was re announced with no specific rules.

Overall I think a good chunk of this tour will be fine outside of the NY shows and Washington Shows.
