That isn't within the focus of this thread. This thread was to see if covid protocols or lack thereof would influence attendance. If you (royal) aren't atte ding for a different reason it doesn't pertain to the thread.

To the pod discussion, I'd love pods covid or not. I'd pay a premium for it. But pids are obviously not part of DMB 21 plans. If they were that would have been said or made clear when trying to buy tickets.

Yea, capacity restrictions clearly aren't going to be implemented. Luckily, DMB can handle that all on their own.

I think the only real expectation will be while you're interacting with staff (merch, food, beer, gates etc...) or in the bathrooms. I just don't see ushers patrolling the seats and telling people to mask up; certainly not the lawn.
I think this is the most likely scenario!

    Lets rock and roll.

Ditto. Im vaccinated and will do whatever is asked (actually preferring a mask mandate)! Just let me see this band live.

I will jump through as many hoops as necessary to attend these shows. I am fully vaccinated, and feel completely comfortable with whatever protocols are implemented. I didn't realize just how important DMB shows are to me, until I was faced with the possibility of never seeing them again, or at least not for an undetermined amount of time.

I feel bad for the people who will choose not to go to a show this year because local regulations/ or the band asked them to nicely.

Like imagine making that decision lol.

Got vaccinated with the specific intent on being able to go to concerts and baseball games.

Only thing that'll stop me is if Mercy starts popping up on setlists.

I’ll be there as long as they don’t require the Vaccine. Probably not going to get that for a couple years to see how they go.

Trying to hit up Charlotte and West Palm Beach so will be interesting to see what they require.

    This is where I’m at.

If we’re all vaccinated & transmission rates are negligible, then I wouldn’t care either way. Hoping this is the case in September. If cases rise and a variant that the vaccines don’t protect well against spread, I wouldn’t go unless there were protocols in place. Definitely happy to wear a mask either way if it’s required, and might voluntarily do so depending on transmission rates.

Vaccinated so don’t care. Going no matter what. I’ve got pit for two nights at the Gorge.

Also, I realize I could get covid despite being vaccinated, but I don’t care about that either. I need people and music for my mental health. Let’s gooooo

Edit: oh and I’ll wear a mask, keister a 5G SIM card or whatever. Don’t care.

Re: Will potential Covid protocols impact your attendance this year?

No, won't be attending a large scale event during the pandemic. I'm vaccinated, and its either safe to have concerts or its not. The whole "show proof of vaccine or negative test plus masking in public areas except while eating or drinking" might make sense for a smaller event, but you pack 10k plus people into an area and the very very small chance of exposure outdoors starts to amplify with amount of people. If it takes a mask on 10k other people to make it safe for me, and we all know that masking compliance at a show will likely be very poor, then I don't call that safe. Smaller shows are a different story, but for an amphitheater I'm all or nothing.

According to an email I got from the Warehouse, the only protocols in place will be whatever the state/venue has. So don't expect a statement from the band/management about policies. They said basically check the venue website close to the show and go from there.

Im fully vaccinated and will most likely wear a mask. Ive become so acclimated to it that I basically forget Im wearing one. Its kind of a wait and see for me, a lot can happen between now and then but come August and September, I see myself being comfortable.

The "I wouldnt go see DMB in 2021 regardless" people are the best.

I'll follow all the rules like a good little boy, but I do think that requiring a vaccine or negative test, along with a mask mandate and social distancing seems a little over the top...but I'll do whatever they tell me.

2021 dmb is what it is. They are getting older now, just glad I can be able to see them maybe. Phish is my number one priority this summer, but damn I would like to see DMB too. It’s been so damn long. May of 2019 was my last show. I can’t wait to get on the boards, and bitch about setlist again

I'm in that camp but there would be 1 thing that would make me consider it. Lower ticket prices. I can't justify the cost anymore... it's just too damn high for this band.
