I'm tempted to get a ticket to see Barenaked Ladies with the Gin Blossoms and Toad the Wet Sprocket. What a fucking lineup.

I'm dying to go and it's been postponed twice now. Going to see them next year in NH. Seeing Matchbox Twenty, too as it's been postponed twice now.

My instinct was to lock it, but a lot of stuff is getting pushed to 2022, so even this early, people are likely to have some stuff on the books for next year.

Yeah, theres a heavy metal show that I would give a nut to go to and it was just postponed until '22. I think this is a perfectly valid thread.

5/27 - Avett Brothers at Ommegang Brewery

9/11 - My Chemical Romance at Barclays Center

Might try to add one of those Motion City Soundtrack shows. Plus DMB Camden, SPAC, Gorge. A Phish run or two. 311 Day. And a lot more

Love Toad but the other bands are meh to me so I'll probably pass. Are single headliners with opening acts at club venues like going by the wayside or something? Everything seems like it's a multi-headline show just to be able to play at a bigger venue now, which I absolutely hate. Not specifically talking about the Toad tour, but like 3 bands that would each normally play a 2,500 capacity club end up playing a 20,000 capacity amphitheater, and it ends up not being close to half full. So the crowd is sparse for the venue, and the bands that are playing don't have a big enough sound/stage setup to fill the space anyway since they weren't blockbuster bands to begin with. And then the band you like the most isn't necessarily playing last and plays like half a set of only hits since 2/3 of the crowd doesn't give a shit about them. It's a terrible, terrible concept.

Bought a ticket to Elton John's final US performance at Dodgers Stadium. Show isn't until Nov. 2022. Not sure I've ever bought a ticket to a show that's 18 months out.

Elton is worth it. I've seen him many times, sometimes with Billy, and every time he's been phenomenal.

Same. We're so excited. He's my wife's favorite artist so this will be a real extra special show.

I'm trying to talk her into doing Saturday night too but I think she's wanting to explore LA a little more.

2/18 - The War On Drugs - Mission Ballroom - Denver, CO
2/27 - The Weeknd - Ball Arena - Denver, CO
3/27 - John Mayer - Ball Arena - Denver, CO

These are all tentative as Drugs and Mayer aren’t on sale yet and I don’t have a final head count for Weeknd but early 2022 is starting to get cramped already.
