Re: Philadelphia Phillies

Two in a row. The pitching is solid and the bats are warming up. All 9 innings tonight were pitched by guys who weren't on the team last year.
GO PHILS!!!

They look better but still aren't playing up to potential they just played the worst team in baseball.

CITIZENS BANK PARK IS AMAZING, ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE
i cant believe what i saw, its like camden yards in philidelphia, i liked it better than the linc, its sooo intimate and the design is flawless. you can walk all the way around and never miss the action, when your buying food - from anywhere - you can always see the action, there are no entrances and exits, its all open all the way around. im truly in total awe of the place. AND, Pat Burrel and Jim Thome HOMERED, wow what a night, then to have Wagner finish it out. the place goes absolutely nuts when he hit 100mph. and the giant lighted moving liberty bell, its crazy. everyone is just going to looooooove this place, its magnificent, props to everyone who made it happen....and the best part....im goin back tomorrow, wooooohoooooo!

I'm assuming there are no $8 - $10 seats in CBP like there was in the Vet.

Dollar Dog Days were the best in the Vet, though you got the Yoo-Hoo squirts for days afterwards.

the cheapest seats are like $15 or $17, but hey, its still a huge bargain compared to any other sport. and its worth it, that place is amazing.

i spent 6.00 on hot dogs tonight, DDD would be the shit. my brother ate 5 once, and im happy to say, in my family at least, i dont get explosive diarhea from a hot dog.

Good genes in your family then.

The next time I'm in Philly, I'd love to check out a game at CBP. I had some good times at the Vet.

any sadness about the vet is quickly removed by cbp and the linc, both absolutely amazing places

It's about time Philly got some nice stadiums. I may be a New Yorker, but I loved the 6 years I spent in Philly. Hell, I know more about Philly than I do about NYC. I may move back one day.

hey, for all of the WIP faithfulls...steve fredericks retired today, so so sad . he had his last night show last night and his last show today with howard. i was virtually in tears laying in my bed last night. i spent so many nights in my life falling asleep to him, it was so sad to hear everyone call up and say their memories of him and how much they would miss him. he was always my favorite host, props to him.

only for the last two years, before that, they were cheaper
last year general admission was $10, about 99% of the time the way i went to games.

and GET THIS, the phils announced today that for every sellout, they will sell 500 standing room only tix at $10 a piece, thats awesome. this ballpark is perfect for standing room only. i might do it tomorrow actually, make it 3 games in a row.

OK, fuck Jimmy Rollins! I had him in both weeks so far on one of my fantasy teams. I was all excited when they were moving him to leadoff.

Nice that he waited until today to get a hit this week. sheesh.

I benched his ass next week.
