Remember 2 Things cover - can you draw it?

Hi Friends & Fam,

I have an impressive DMB resume going back to the mid 90s. I used to be a top trader. I've been there, done that 10x over.

BUT I've never once been able to see the stereoscope image of the Remember Two Things cover!

I just had my last DMB birthday (#41) and have been re-appreciating my band lately. But I realized, and started to wonder, what if I make it all the way through life without ever having been able to see what's behind the cover?

So are there any talented artists out there who could draw a really accurate representation of what the cover looks like? You would be so awesome for helping.

Its just a hand giving a peace sign. Famously Alanis Morissette was a giant fan and gave the cover a nob in the lyrics to Hand in my Pocket, which Dave was such a fan of he invited her to sign on Spoon. Also, I made that second part up. The cover being a hand giving a peace sign is true.

YES!!!!! I was wondering if there was some kind of decoder tool for those images but didn't look hard enough to find one. Thanks for sharing this. A small part of me now feels somewhat complete. Of course I've always known it was the peace sign but still couldn't visualize what it truly looked like on the album. Thanks again

This may be a dumb question, but should I be able to see the peace sign in the left image of the actual cover or do I need to look at it in person to see it?

It's easier to do on a larger image of the cover or on the actual cover itself (the vinyl release is best!) but it's there on the one I linked above as well.

A trick to kind-of seeing these is to just cross your eyes so that the repeating patterns line up. This will make it look "inside out," which isn't how it's supposed to look, but you can at least see something easier that way. To see them properly, you need to focus on a point BEHIND the image.
