Imagine Ants’ reaction if they didn’t announce the album when they did: “What a joke! The band is in the studio recording an album and they haven’t said anything about it! How disconnected is their PR team!!??”

The album is coming, it will be promoted.

Its not being promoted early March yet- have some patience people.

Didn't they say to check back April 1st for updates anyway? Wasn't Dave rumored to be SNL in April?

Im guessing wait til April for some news. Can see the frustration as it pertains to any news after promoting it with their ticket sales, but we know the album is coming regardless in the summer doesn't make much of a difference.

Y'all should've tempered your expectations from the start like I did... It has nothing to do with the management/marketing for this band. Well, maybe a small amount... they jumped the gun on the announcement. I think that was strategic, however, to force Dave's hand (and maybe slightly boost tour excitement). But until the album is 'done'... you're not going to see much promotion.
The good news is that Fonz said his parts were done (deleted that tweet for whatever reason)... if he wasn't done, I'd be really, REALLY worried that the album would be done this year. Bass usually gets laid down early in the process.

HE said himself he was done recording stuff for the album when someone asked after he said he was going in the studio.

It could literally be for anything else, who knows, who cares? Theres no reason not to take him at his word. It sure seems like all the recording is done based off the context of everything else too.

I honestly am coming around to believe that the WH is run by quite literally one person that handles the social media, email requests etc. They probably get help from shipping stuff from musictoday and have a management higher up disseminate information to her/him etc, but as far as operations go it wouldnt surprise me if they have 1 full time employee doing basically everything.
