Folks - keep in mind the 8:20-8:25 usual roll out was based on an 8PM start time.

Tickets are 7:30 this year.

I’m not saying what will or won’t happen but plan accordingly.

Stage/audio/lights seem to be be ready to go. I assume they plan to do a pretty extensive sound/light check over the next few days.

I see premier parking for Charlotte, is that the same as VIP parking or 2 different things?

I’m curious as well on the premier parking. I’ve never paid for premier parking before but the last couple Charlotte shows have been horrible getting out of the parking lot after the shows. Would anyone that has used it recommend spending the extra $60 to get out of there a little quicker?

the one time i used to it was definitely a lot better getting out. Of course a few minutes under any circumstance can make a huge difference.

Picked up my car from the shop so it’d be ready for the drive this weekend. All it needed was an oil change. A mile down the road the car broke down. Now waiting to hear back. Might have to rent a car.

do you think the garage did something wrong?

This might be out of the box thinking, but I used to see those U-haul type trucks with signs on them to rent for like $19.99 a day (not sure about mileage). You can always Uber if you need to.

Definitely can’t Uber from Atlanta haha.

The people at the shop are good guys and are keeping it overnight to see what happened. I’ll be doing the NC-Atl run no matter what but it certainly puts the WPB run at risk.

Drives to FL I rent a car anyway...cheap small rental with great gas mileage, put 1,500+ miles on someone else's car and turn it back in dirty. The better gas mileage could pay for the rental.

I thought about it, but even a cursory search of local rental spots is telling me it would be cheaper this time to drive down on my own (provided my car actually runs at that point).

Option? Sure. Easy getting there, and then competing against a bunch of folks to leave. Anyone ever try a scheduled Uber after a show?

I actually thought we'd have a new lighting rig but then once I saw the photo of the same 2019 rig for Raleigh/2021 it made all too much sense to me that they'd keep the same one. It was probably in storage already from 2019... the 2020 tour would have had a new one but it probably wasn't assembled yet at the time that the tour was called off. It probably went back into the "ideas" folder for the future but it was too late to build a new one when the call was made to tour in 2021, due to COVID, supplies, labor, etc. All good with me - I'll take whatever I can get and the 2019 rig was good.

We had a last minute change to our babysitter and trying to convince my ten year old - who has never been to a concert - to come since we have no other options for her that evening.

I assumed I could get a single but looks like the lawn is sold out and unless someone has a cousin or something that can babysit I need a ticket for her!

I just saw that. Trying to get lawn because my daughter has never been to a concert and worried it will be too loud for her under the roof. I guess I could buy one and just sit on the lawn anyway. Just need to get her in the venue.
