Re: *** Official Holmdel 2018 Thread ***

Jesus Christmas LN sucks! Right at 10:00, only pulling up 400s and then Lawn, and then it kicked me out! On 2 different browsers!

Lucked out though around 10:20, as in my history from trying to get tickets the other day, I had the Map version and was able to get 2 adjoining aisle seats in 301.

VIP parking had going from $30 to $50 though! Jeez...

Similar problems here. Where the hell were all the good seats? Got 400s so it's better than the lawn, but pretty pricey for 400s. I am happy that I'm going though!

Not sure if this will work, but here is the Map verison. They are still a bunch of singles, but adjoining aisle seats available in 300 level.

Curious as to why all the other venues had an $85 option along with the $49 lawn and the $115 better sections, but PNC did not. I would think that the 400s (uncovered seats) would go for $85 and 300s and better would be $115. I really think this was the ONLY venue that did not have an $85 option.

It's probably a very high demand show. Close to NYC and Philly. Almost all of the reserved seating is already sold out.

Gorge didn't have an $85 option either. Holmdel always seems a very tough ticket to get, especially for being a weekday show.

I bought my ticket (third annual PNC show!) but I'm conflicted about all the summer internships I applied to that are in the Midwest/West Coast. So many emotions!

Keep checking Ticketmaster. Reserves pop up a lot at PNC.

Change of plans and I need some planning help. My wife and I are driving in morning of the show from Cleveland. It looks to be a 7.5 hour drive. Not sure what to do, google maps suggest taking 80 across Pennsylvania, it’s a hair longer taking the turnpike, plus the third option is taking 76 to 276 to 95. I’m not familiar at all with driving in this part of the country. Any feedback is appreciated.

We also plan on driving a couple hours closer to home after the show, so I also need some tips on where to stay two hours west of the venue close to a freeway.

Very surprising. Last year they didn't sell out.

Anyone selling a single reserved and looking to road trip from lower manhattan or jersey city? None of my friends can be talked into doing another show after a 2 night bender at SPAC

Keep starting over on the app. LiveNation is pulling this bullshit where they are trying to force you to pay $68.50 for the verified fan seats

Having made several trips to Pittsburgh I can say that the Route 80 trek is the most direct. Take 80 to 287 South to the Garden State Parkway. However, keep in mind traffic. Two years ago I hit a WALL of traffic trying to get to the venue. I hit the traffic at 5:30 and didn't park my car until 7:30. I was honestly afraid that I was going to miss some of the show. Your best bet is to try to leave Cleveland as early as possible because Jersey traffic can be quite brutal especially from 4pm on.

A hidden benefit of Route 80 is there aren't any (or extremely fewer) tolls. However, I agree with another post, you have to leave early from Cleveland..

Last time I was on 80, there was allot of construction. 80 to the Garden State Parkway is an easy route to take with only a few tolls, nothing major. There are rest areas every 40 miles or so on 80 plus allot of awesome views. If it was me, I would take 80 East to the Garden State Parkway, then the Parkway South to the venue. You will hit traffic in NJ. 80 in PA should be wide open unless there is construction or an accident.

287 to GARDEN STATE PARKWAY TRAFFIC is TERRIBLE anytime after 4pm. Your best bet would be to drive up the night before and getting a little Airbnb.

Two years ago concert traffic was mixed with rush hour traffic and it took me an hour to get off the exit. Missed the first song.

Definitely take 80 east to 287 to GSP.

Scored some lawn seats. I usually come from Northwest Jersey but coming from the shore this year. Whats the traffic like going east?

    Very excited
