Local Long Island forecasts are calling for flash flooding and potentially damaging thunderstorms in the area between 2pm and 8pm. Flash flooding or any heavy rain for that matter will most def flood out the pit and lower level seats closer to the stage. I have been in that section with water over my ankles and I have seen other times where it was practically knee deep. Because the theater is located on the water this is to be expected.
They def won’t cancel the show due to rain. On the other hand, lightening will at least temporarily delay the show. I have been ushered out of the stadium during a set to wait for the storm to pass and the show to go on. If nothing else this should be a crazy interesting experience tonight. And we can always hope for a good JTR

this show will 100% not be cancelled. the stage is covered and the show goes on. as a local long islander, i have stood out there in thunderstorm downpours many many times growing up. i believe dmb two years ago had a nice downpour as well. phish the same.
i was not planning on going tonight but if the rain will be over by 8 and i can get a cheap/free ticket in the lot by driving over at 745, its possible

I think the weather will discourage a lot of people. Ive gotten tickets for face value in the lot. There are some good honest people. Worst case, the good thing out jones beach is you can see the screens and hear everything right by the entrance so even if you dont get in your good. I got Orch H tickets. Been waiting since Feb. Im going no matter what. Rain is supposed to tapper down by 8-9pm.

tickets dropping on stubhub....... the under $90 ticket barrier has been broken and i presume it will keep going down and down an down as this rain is wicked and the realization starting to creep in for many
also for what its worth, standing outside the gate at JB you can hear the whole concert and see the screens just fine. not that i endorse this but its a good backup plan
