I miss the good ol days like everybody else, but all things considered, I thought the Sirius mix was pretty good and the set was pretty good.

Good to be back, strong open. Left quite a bit to be desired by the end

New songs sound really solid and the band is featured well on both Ocean and Moon

Love a 41 opener. I LOVED that Sweet jam. Loved Lay Down was terrific. Great to see a show again

The crowd chants encouraging him are the worst. Seems like a nice guy and he is talented but on stage with DMB especially while they are sans a violin is not the right place for him.

Botched. Seems like he couldn’t think of the lyrics out of the first chorus…then he tried to restart…and stopped himself again. At the end, he put his hands up like “that was crap, sorry.” But it was cool to see.

People built up expectations in their heads that the band had no intentions of delivering on. The fact that you got to see DMB for the first time in 18 months when most of us didn't think we'd get to see them until 2022 is pretty cool and not a time when we should be picking apart setlists IMO.

Show was fun. Had a good time and the crowd was just wild.

Update on our end: Lots of tapers there. The best of the best who have been doing it for ages. Had some first show (first time using any gear since 2019) issues with my stuff but will have it all worked out by tomorrow in Charlotte. Can’t turn a recording out tonight like I had hoped but I should be able to get a quick one out after Charlotte. Don’t worry, there is *stellar* stuff from Raleigh coming from those guys there tonight.

I thought it was him getting choked up by the moment not forgetting the words. I could be wrong though.

Then I just read it wrong from where I was. He did skip the whole “children play … time we have is borrowed” verse…so that’s what made me think he just lost his place and tried to pick up at any verse he could think of.

Sometimes you simply had to be there. It was incredible, both the crowd and band clearly recognized the moment for what it was, a much needed and overdue reunion. I thought they were in sync all night, and while the set list wasn't perfect in the second half, they came out and hit us in the face in the first half. Full grey street was goosebumps all over. I disagree with the buddy haters, while I will always miss Boyd, I think this is the next best thing. Then again, I remember all the butch haters back in the day, and I enjoyed him too lol can't wait for tomorrow night!

Crowd last night was great, the better part of the set was stellar. The last stretch could’ve been a bit better to make it a truly legendary show to kick off the tour. Glad to be a part of the first show this run and looking forward to tonight if CLT.

Yes poster in WH store. Merch was standard as usual, you can see it on the LN app right now. Yes they gave you tubes. They also allowed them to be brought in contrary to what they said last week.

I'm on here look for a Charlotte pair for tonight, so I'll type a little review while I'm here. Energy of course was awesome, everyone so excited to be back with group t-shirts and signs that said "Hello Again" everywhere. Very cool to be at the first show back. I'll go over some highlights and other things.

#41 opener was cool, but Granny seemed liked the real opener to me. Granny sounded on point, loud, and the end really got the crowd going. Great placement into Grey Street, place was rocking and half the crowd went NUTS when he started playing the 3rd verse. It sounded amazing and makes me wondered how we went this long without it.

Walk Around the Moon - I really liked this song, but folks are being a little tough on it. The chorus is beautiful, catchy, and after listening once more on the way home last night is already stuck in my head. It's a strange little beat with some up and down vocals in the verse, but that's Dave for you. I think this will sound great on the album and I'm giving WATM a thumbs up. It definitely seemed 100% finished.

Do You Remember - I won't complain about any song played on opening night after a pandemic...but this song just stinks, the performance was meh, and it was the first downer of the night in my opinion.

Minarets was rocking, I'm not a big Sweet fan but it was a nice change of pace and the jam was cool. I was hoping he was going to pull out the new Uke song that's been rumored. Hello Again - I freaking love this song...back in 2004. It's still a good song, but I just want to go up there and tell Dave to loosen up, listen to an '04 version, and this thing could be a monster. I think HA has close the show monster potential, but it's not BIG enough and sounds so much like the studio version vs. the Golden Gate version. Hope he gets more comfortable here and can start pouring it out.

So Damn Lucky was another highlight, Louisiana Bayou sounded fine but was the same as always. Tough little stretch toward the end but I enjoyed the finish. Ocean and Butterfly is beautiful but quiet - not much band interaction which I was surprised on.

He got so emotional during Singing from the Windows that he literally stopped playing and couldn't remember "Look at how the children play". I dont think I've ever seen him pretty much unable to find his footing in a song. Terrible version but also kinda cool to see. At the end he threw his hands up and was like "shit, that was bad sorry".

Solid show, awesome to be here, confident the setlist tonight will be a little "better".

For those that have been to Charlotte and used premier parking in the past is it worth it? I have been to every Charlotte show for the last 15 years and never used premier parking and typically run to my car across the street and get out pretty quick. I know Premier is very close to the entrance but how is the exit after the show?

Section 2 seemed to be the Warehouse section. When they went into the 3rd verse, it erupted with the pit. I just listened to it on the Sirius and hearing the crowd when it starts gave me chills again.

What an amazing show. Sure it wasn't perfect but just being there it's hard to complain.

The hard part to imagine is my hotel is <3 miles from the venue I’m tempted to walk but it doesn’t seem doable on the roads.
