Let only warehouse members get tickets. That’s a start.

They've had drive in concerts around the country. In Europe they had those distancing pods in a field. There are definitely ways to have concerts. Bands just have to be a little creative.

That doesn’t mean DMB tours, but there will be a healthy concert season in America next year. It'll just look different.

Americans aren't Europeans, though. There will be bitching to the high heavens if and when current re-scheduled events are canceled for 2021 and replaced by distanced events. Americans have far less tolerance for change or something "different". And crowds at a concert are exhibit A.

I think the bands and companies involved will be able to get creative. I just don't know if there's financial viability given the customer base here.

Americans are following the guidelines at other large events like sports and amusement parks. We will do the same at concerts. Of course there will be bitching if 21 shows are canceled or modified. That doesn't mean people won't adjust and still attend shows.

Sounds good on paper but they wouldn’t restrict it to current members and this would have a influx of new members.

So is the Drive-In series back or was this week’s stream just a one-off?

Good question, I guess we'll find out over the next few days about next week.

I'm kinda guessing it's not back, but hoping it finds its way back eventually. We really enjoyed what became a tradition. Looking forward to tonight's D&F @ the Virtu-roo thing. Listened to some Alabama Shakes, Goose, and Jack White yesterday...good stuff.

All good no offense taken. So to correct myself, those shows Could have been better lol. My despise for Jimi thing is that it has been shoved down out throats over the years and it needs a break. I find it a nice refreshing weekend when Jimi Thing does not pop up either night. Jimi was cool last year at Spac when they busted into staying alive and all that but it still made me groan hearing that opening lick. Now if it was that A chord for Cry Freedom i would be happy. Last Stop is another song that shows me how lazy they have become, they cut the song in half why? Why bother playing it without the reprise outro? They play 30 minute Jimi Things it makes no sense to me. Stay Safe everyone and i hope there is a 2021 tour.

So, how much Drive-In merch did folks buy?

We just got our Bristow 2008 poster yesterday, which we know sold out...it was 292/1650!

Bought a few posters, some apparel, and some such.

My Bristow poster, which had my address in Tampa on the order, was delivered to a parcel locker in Charlotte. DHL using USPS for delivery, shocking it went so wrong! Sent USPS an email, we'll see what happens. I'll be absolutely furious if they can't get it to me.

Bought the Nissan Pavilion (Rois last show) reprint. Wanted it in 2008 and couldn't grab it then. Also bought the SPAC poster. It's not the best but it beats the posters last year.

    Ditto to that...

The audio should be definitely be available as it was streamed on Sirius and possibly replayed a time or two. The video would be cool for ones personal archive.

We bought a few posters, the ones for Hartford & SPAC since we didn't care for the official ones from the shows. We also bought a couple for shows we didn't attend, including Roi's last show. Our oldest was four at the time and we didn't have/trust babysitters and no family in the area. I'd say in hindsight we shoulda just brought him to the show, but there was no way of anyone knowing or guessing it would have been his final show...

The text on the back isn't red though (at least not on our), which is a little disappointing. It doesn't look at good or pop in black ink and we had thought about rotating the poster every once in a while.

These no warning appearances are a bit annoying. We'd love to watch when they air...since there's no much else to watch. But thanks camiel, will watch.

Still waiting for the Hickapalooza clips...

So, if things get shutdown again (since it looks like it's coming to that) are we going back to these? The weekly Wednesday show was honestly something that I looked forward to during the first shutdown.

What do you guys think are the best overall song performances/versions from the 2019 Drive-In shows?

The #41, So Much To Say, Too Much run to open the Hartford show was really strong.

The layering/dynamics of this current lineup really stood out for me:

I think the first drive in 6/29 had a solid 2019 set list from start to finish. Good performance overall

Not being able to attend (now live across the country) yet seeing this from my home venue was something special. Amazing how good Dave's vocals are on #41 and I still can't believe Connecticut got two #41 openers within 6mos.

Reliving the 6/26/11 opener and encore was it for me tho.

Very grateful they did the drive-in this summer.

If they bring back the Drive-In this summer, what shows would you like to see video from? I would think LT8 and LT13 would be realistic possibilities based on last summer and if they continue to focus on previous releases.
