Couple of thoughts for this Saturday:

Banning tik tok good. As ky said they are basically a chinese spyware company.

Whose economy is doing better, MLB or NBA? Something to think about.

I could see college athletes getting paid because of coronavirus. Schools know the gig is up. They can't have virtual learning and have a football season.

The NBA.

It knows its demographic well enough to not be hurt by things like kneeling during the national anthem. That and they're laying a strong blueprint for how sports could reasonably resume. Baseball, on the other hand....

While the data being captured on those hundreds of millions of devices is not much use to compromise an individual—it would be a horribly complex way to spy on select targets, it does provide an amortized dataset, country by country, city by city, demographic by demographic. Look at what Cambridge Analytica managed with Facebook data or the power of location pings to track users en masse.
