Lets hope! They certainly have ascended pretty quickly. Not many bands in the jam scene these days really find their niche and stick around.
Twiddle was the last band I can think if that got pretty popular but since fizzled out a bit. Still playing theaters but I don't think they will take the next step up into the moe., UM, Biscuits, STS9 tier.
I think Goose is setup a bit differently though.. Amazing management and marketing teams.. Being a Northeast band with the backing of Peter Shapiro will lead into many headlining or prime festivals slots as we've seen this summer.
It will be also interesting to see how well their next album does. Most of it, if not all of another new album, has already been recorded. (elmeg & travelers have been noted as two songs on the new album) .. I love Dripfield and hope the next album is just as good!
